Holywells Park has too much to offers visitors for per day's household activity, from a lot of green to a great amount of damp! There's a paddling pool (summertime just) that will be perfect for young children to cool off in and a side that is cutting's play area called The Discovery and designed around a galleon theme, interestingly commemorating the local vessel that founded Jamestown in 1607. The play area has around some 20 bits of sturdy but fun play that is outside perfect for young ones 2 years to a decade old, along with sheltered picnic areas and sunny green space to pelt about in.The Stable Block Visitor Centre and Stable Cafe are open from 10am to 5pm April to October and 10am to 4pm October to March, providing refreshments, information and quite often rest from the rainfall! You can grab some leaflets which can be handy the Centre including maps for several tracks, themed individually around wildlife, history and woods, which are fun to follow. There's also a set of 16 groups found in the orienteering path, which keeps energetic older kids good and!Plus that is busy you bring your personal stuff, unlikely as that seems, there's a bowling green too! And a good amount of area for bat, frisbee and ball games, why perhaps not load up a bagful!
