Moat Farm, Suffolk, is a friendly family run apple orchard growing English apples - it has two separate campsites in idyllic Suffolk countryside and within easy reach of the heritage Suffolk Coast.

Moat Farm is a working family-run fruit farm set in the unspoilt Suffolk countryside. We are just half an hour from the heritage coast and within one mile of the pretty timber-framed village of Debenham, which is well served with local shops and amenities.

We grow mainly English eating apples - Cox’s, Royal Gala, and Russet dessert apples along with a range of traditional varieties (including Lord Lambourne, James Grieve, Charles Ross, and Blenheim Orange). We press some varieties to make our juice and are also proud to supply the East of England Co-operative and Aspall cider who both champion local producers.
Situated on a quiet country lane, we have a self-contained campsite (Caravan Club Certified Location) within the 26-acre orchards, with hard standings and electric hook-ups designed for caravans, camper vans and motor homes.

New for 2025, we are now offering a 5 m Bell Tent which has a double bed and a sofa bed for the children. Maximum capacity of 4 people. Out side we offer a picnic bench and fire pit and space for your vehicle. The bell Tent is sited in the meadow.

Non-Electric Grass Motorhome Pitch

This double glazed hut sleeps 2 adults in a king size bed and up to two children in a bunk style double above. 

Inside both of the huts you also have a table and 2 chairs, with the use of a fire pit outside. Sheets are provided, however you will need to bring pillows and sleeping bags.

Badger Camping Pod

This hut sited in the meadow sleeps 2 adults in a king size bed and also offers a wood burning stove for those cold evenings.

As we do not have any electric hook up on site, the huts do not offer electricity or a kitchen area. The lights are ran from an external battery. Please bring all cooking utensils as if you are camping. We do offer a small fridge and freezer at East Barn. 

Rabbit

With Just 5 pitches available within 5 acres of land, you are guaranteed space and privacy. You can set up on the main field or wild camp on one of our limited pitches in the meadow.

Non-Electric Grass Tent Or Trailer Tent Pitch

The site is in a beautiful spot surrounded by open fields and an abundance of wildlife. It is located in Suffolk, close to the charming villages of Felsham and Rattlesden and is only a short drive away from Medieval Lavenham and the Market Town of Bury St Edmunds.
 
Nestling in 10 acres of meadowland this site offers a peaceful children and dog friendly campsite and shepherd's huts where you can enjoy a wild camping experience in our meadowland, campfires, stargazing and an abundance of wildlife.

Its is the perfect place to relax, unwind and escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

Oak tent

For those of you that have your own equipment, we have seven oversize camping pitches spread around the meadow. They are mown into the meadow grass, each one atleast 14 metres diameter with a minimum of 10 metres between pitches. Each pitch has its own clean compost toilet, firepit and campgrill. There are hot showers available nearby.

Driftways Glamping & Camping is set in a picturesque 4.5 acre meadow in beautiful South Norfolk. It’s a small family site run by Vanessa and Andrew and their two small children.

The site offers an off-grid glamping and camping experience allowing guests to switch off, unplug and enjoy some downtime. It can also serve as a central base allowing you to discover the delights that Norfolk and Suffolk have to offer.

Driftways features five luxurious bell tents and seven camping pitches and is surrounded by farmland. With just twelve pitches, we recommend checking availability and booking as early as possible to avoid disappointment.

Each pitch has its own clean compost toilet and camp fire area, with glamping pitches also featuring a fully equipped gas-fired kitchenette and picnic bench.  Access to gas/solar-powered showers is available for all guests.

Driftways Glamping & Camping

Hill Farm is a working farm in mid-Suffolk. We primarily grow crops and we also have sheep in our meadows. 

We have two holiday cottages. We also have a small glamping site, with our tents located in our beautiful woodland, with views over fields and hedgerows. Each tent is named after a local Suffolk punch horse, past and present.

Come explore the railway that is only in Suffolk, where you'll receive to discover, play while having a unique outing with the family members. All aboard at Mid-Suffolk Light Railway!When you can the place you will be greeted by extremely staff that is friendly who can provide you with only a little insight into the history of the railway, not to be missed! Climb on board and watch in awe once the huge vapor train chugs along puffing out a little trail of smoke in its wake.Continue your journey to the past whenever you arrive straight back at the place by exploring the railway museum, telling you even more of this railways history that is fascinating. After, grab a quick bite to eat during the cafi and come back to the day that exists!

Monsters Ltd is an intention built play and celebration area for young children right through to 10 yr old or 10ins that are 4ft whichever occurs first! Play areas are monitored by trained staff but needless to say the supervision is still down seriously to you, with them, so make sure that you are using socks as well as them when you can tear yourself far from the menu!There's a dedicated and enclosed play area for the under 4s but if they are the adventurous type and want to explore the primary frame it's ok by Monsters as long as a parent goes into! The toddler zone had ride in coupe automobiles, role play home, rocking pets, task tables and all sorts of sorts of other delightful how to carefully stimulate them. Infants have colourful padded play mats and soft toys.The primary adventure climbing maze features a 3 lane rushing slip, third floor spiral fall, high wobbly bridges, observation pods and crawling tubes, plus all the other entertaining and exhausting features them to create their pocket money which they crave.There are a few games and amusements extra towards the play frame, which come at additional cost, so inform!
