Shepherd's Hut

We are a 1-acre site located in Suffolk on part of an agricultural farm, the site is situated on a hill and has a small fishing lake. Non-Electric Grass Pitch

Private cabin situated in a secluded corner of the site. Sleeps 2 adults and 2 children, kitchen, shower, wc, double bed, sofa bed, table and log burner. A private courtyard to the back and large decking area to the front overlooking the small lake.

Superb 2 bedroom Safari Tent with kitchen, sitting/dining area and private shower and WC. Fully equipped with kitchen utensils, cooking equipment and everything you need for a fabulous stay. All you need to bring is your own bedding!

Situated so that you can enjoy an evening drink on your own private veranda, looking out over the pond.

Non Electric Pitch

We have the brilliant Helsport Valhall tents (subject to availabilty) on site, with electric hookup available on arrangement. Developed for extreme weather, its design and build ensures it is warm and functional whatever time of the year you stay. The Valhall features three distinct areas which are separated by inner tent walls. The price includes rental of the tent and pitch – and up to 4 adults on the pitch (no limit on number of children). Please note that whilst we do accomodate for 1 night stays, you will still be charged the amount for 2 nights.

Pitches with electric hookup available, 10 of which offer freesat TV as an option.  Caravans, motorhomes, campervans, tents or trailer tents are all permitted.

Our Moat Farm campsite is a Caravan Club Certified Location for caravans, camper vans, and motor homes set within an idyllic 26-acre orchard.

We have deliberately limited the number of pitches so each one has plenty of space and privacy. 

Moat Farm campsite has a purpose-built shower, washing, and WC block, with electric hook-ups washing, WC and shower facilites Families and well-behaved dogs.

Grass Pitch

New for 2025, we are now offering a 5 m Bell Tent which has a double bed and a sofa bed for the children. Maximum capacity of 4 people. Out side we offer a picnic bench and fire pit and space for your vehicle. The bell Tent is sited in the meadow.

Non-Electric Grass Motorhome Pitch

This double glazed hut sleeps 2 adults in a king size bed and up to two children in a bunk style double above. 

Inside both of the huts you also have a table and 2 chairs, with the use of a fire pit outside. Sheets are provided, however you will need to bring pillows and sleeping bags.

Please note, there is no electricity in the Huts

Badger Camping Pod

This hut sited in the meadow sleeps 2 adults in a king size bed and also offers a wood burning stove for those cold evenings.

As we do not have any electric hook up on site, the huts do not offer electricity or a kitchen area. The lights are ran from an external battery. Please bring all cooking utensils as if you are camping. We do offer a small fridge and freezer at East Barn. 

Rabbit

With Just 5 pitches available within 5 acres of land, you are guaranteed space and privacy. You can set up on the main field or wild camp on one of our limited pitches in the meadow.

Mayfly was a Suffolk punch horse who lived on Hill Farm many years ago. Her name is still etched on our stable block in the farmyard. Mayfly is therefore a very special 5m bell tent. All our tents are situated in our beautiful woodland. Mayfly comes with electricity, an individual gas cooker and fridge, kitchen utensils, picnic tables for sitting outside, as well as a fire pit and BBQ for those long summer nights. There is free WiFi available on the site. Parking, toilet and shower facilities are a short walk away. Our bathrooms are wheelchair accessible. There are communal kitchen facilities, including washing up areas and a freezer. Logs, kindling and charcoal are available onsite or you are welcome to bring your own. Samson was a local Suffolk punch horse. Suffolk punches are one of the oldest, rarest and most beautiful breeds of 'shire' horse in the world.
