This year our Cowslip yurt moved into The Glade; an exclusive, private part of the farm, surrounded by trees, a wild pond and its own little footpath style entrance, as well as its own unique handmade long framed tipi equipped as an indoor-outdoor kitchen and dining area.

We have 2 unique eco-yurt stays, both come fully equipped with comfy beds, log burners, furniture, equipped kitchen with stove, cooking ware and drinking water sink, solar lighting, outdoor standing BBQ, large circle fire pit and a compost loo and hot shower.

We offer a unique ‘back to basics’ camping experience on our working farm in Derbyshire. Our limited facilities are offset by the panoramic views of the Peak District and stunning sunsets to the west.

-   No fixed pitches; campers use a selection of fields dependent on livestock grazing and haymaking.
-    No electricity hook-up; enjoy the sounds of the countryside without your hair-dryer or DAB radio.
-    No hot water or showers for campers; mains drinking water taps on bright blue pipes are available in the fields for your use.
-    Environmentally friendly; compost toilets and long-drops facilities.
-    We allow campfires; provided no damage to the ground is caused, i.e the fire is on a fire pan, brazier or BBQ. We have handmade fire pan’s available for use free of charge.
-    Large log bags; available to buy for £5 a bag, one bag will last three-four hours burning, or bring your own! (no nails please)
-    Well-behaved dogs; are allowed by arrangement. We have free-range livestock including lambs and poultry, so dogs must be kept under close control at all times.

There’s no queuing for the facilities as there are two bathrooms in Hipley cabin. Relax in the luxurious whirlpool bath or enjoy a refreshing shower in the accessible wet room.

**Please remember these rules before booking**:

**Vehicles** - Must be parked in the area next to your pitch. All vehicles are parked at the owners’ risk. Springwood Fisheries cannot be held responsible for any accidents or theft while left on site.  All visitor's cars are to be left in the car park.  No vehicle movements after 10:30 pm, if returning after this time, please leave the car in the car park or on track.

**Pricing** - Our prices include electric hook-up (where applicable), awning, water and use of the chemical waste disposal point.

**BBQs** -  Barbeques are allowed provided that they are contained and located a safe distance from your unit and raised 18” above the ground. if using a disposable BBQ then they should be placed on bricks so as not to damage the grass, please ask if you require any.  Only gas BBQs are allowed on the deckings of the pods, please use the hardstanding area to the side of the pod for all charcoal types (including disposable), and placed away from any wooden structure.

**Fires - Open fires or Fire Pits are not permitted anywhere on site.**

**Recycling** - Please use the recycling bins on site for glass and tins, located behind toilets by the main cabin.

**Visitors** - Please limit the number of visitors to your caravan/tent or pod to two at any one time. Please let us know if you are expecting visitors.

**Noise** - We are a quiet site, please respect your neighbours and keep music and noise to an acceptable level.  We have a strict no-noise after 11:00 pm policy.

**Dogs** - Well-behaved dogs are welcomed but must be kept on leads at all times. Please ensure that you clean up any mess.

**Only one Touring Caravan or Trailer Tent or Tent or Motorhome or Campervan is allowed per pitch.**

Grass Pitch with Electric Hook-up

**Max. 2 Adults, 2 Children**

The pod includes a kitchenette area with a sink and two burner hob, microwave oven and fridge. Also included is a fixed double bed, TV and DVD Player, external table and chairs. 

The pod is fully equipped with all cooking utensils, cutlery, glasses, cups pots and pans etc. So all you will need to bring is your bedding and linen, towels and food supplies. Externally there is a decked area, with lighting overlooking the Top Lake, and a hardstanding pitch at the side for parking.

Eagles Den - Deluxe Glamping Pod - Max. 2 Adults, 2 Children

*Located on the edge of the National Forest in South Derbyshire and set within picturesque surroundings Springwood Fisheries.*
