This year our Cowslip yurt moved into The Glade; an exclusive, private part of the farm, surrounded by trees, a wild pond and its own little footpath style entrance, as well as its own unique handmade long framed tipi equipped as an indoor-outdoor kitchen and dining area.

We offer a unique ‘back to basics’ camping experience on our working farm in Derbyshire. Our limited facilities are offset by the panoramic views of the Peak District and stunning sunsets to the west.

-   No fixed pitches; campers use a selection of fields dependent on livestock grazing and haymaking.
-    No electricity hook-up; enjoy the sounds of the countryside without your hair-dryer or DAB radio.
-    No hot water or showers for campers; mains drinking water taps on bright blue pipes are available in the fields for your use.
-    Environmentally friendly; compost toilets and long-drops facilities.
-    We allow campfires; provided no damage to the ground is caused, i.e the fire is on a fire pan, brazier or BBQ. We have handmade fire pan’s available for use free of charge.
-    Large log bags; available to buy for £5 a bag, one bag will last three-four hours burning, or bring your own! (no nails please)
-    Well-behaved dogs; are allowed by arrangement. We have free-range livestock including lambs and poultry, so dogs must be kept under close control at all times.

A cosy room with a view, our timber camping pods are fully insulated and double glazed with cutting-edge infra-red heating, making them a much warmer camping experience than sleeping in a chilly canvas tent!

Delight in the peaceful surroundings and enjoy the stunning views over the farm fields. Due to exceptional demand, there is a minimum 2 night stay.

Enjoy a truly romantic short break with a difference in a bow top gypsy caravan. We have kept the exterior of our vintage caravan a traditional deep burgundy red with highlights in bright contrasting colours, which looks amazing against the green canvas horseshoe shaped roof.

Take a step through the zipped canvas door, to discover the curved ceiling inside is covered in beautiful fabric with pretty roses.

Pinder is a spacious single-story log cabin with a real "home from home" feel. The open plan kitchen and lounge is beautifully light and airy, with French doors onto the decking area. Relax in the hot tub and admire the stunning view over the farm fields.

With two generous double bedrooms and one cosy twin room, the cabin is perfect for families and groups of friends.

The master bedroom has an ensuite shower or you can soak in the luxurious whirlpool bath.

Pickford's House is a screen towards the past for kids, packed with historic objects and activities which can be interactive all into the heart of Derby. This site is a geniune Georgian household originally owned by the Enlightenment period architect, John Pickford included in Derby Museums. It's been cut back to life with rooms designed because they might have seemed into the era that is georgian fascinating, changing exhibitions and a stunning, hidden garden. The group genuinely wish to provide unique opportunities for kids to master and gives lots of schools sessions, suitable using the curriculum. that is current site visitors will get a deep look into the social reputation for the region, kids will cherish dressing in costumes from the age then running wild in the Georgian Garden. Maybe most exciting though may be the opportunity for kids to play and perform into the free-standing puppet theatre: a gem that is uncommon.
