Hylands House and Park has plenty for the family to savor, with 574 acres of parkland, including recreational woodland that is ancient grassland, lakes, ponds and gardens. Addititionally there is a beautifully restored nation household to explore and a fairly play ground that is awesomeThe house, dating from 1730, has some spectacular rooms to wonder at, including the exquisitely gilded Drawing Room to your sumptuously ornate Banqueting Room. There was an impressive Grand Staircase to climb to your Repton Room on to the floor that is very first which gives stunning views throughout the landscaped parkland.Next door could be the Social History Room providing a variety of displays to analyze. There is a basement filled with butler's wine and pantry cellar to explore too! Refreshments are available from Hutton's Courtyard Cafe, situated 50 metres through the house.It is also house to the perfect climbing adventure castle play area, with four metre high castle battlements with portcullis and an awesome drawbridge entrance supplying a regal backdrop for imaginative play and a chance to exhaust by themselves totally (hooray!).A quantity of the items of play ground gear have now been created specifically with disabled young ones in mind which means this is a destination that is wonderfully comprehensive.
