The Dogwood Caravan

**Max. 2 Adults, 2 Children under 12**

Reached down a leafy lane lined with Oak trees, the yurt is a 20 foot diameter, felt-lined Ornate Turkmen built from Ash trees sourced from the Glyndebourne Forest and is of a strikingly beautiful construct. It has a 6 foot roof wheel which is great for lighting during the day and on clear nights gives fine views of the stars; it is also possible to partially open up the roof.

There are barn owls, badgers and rabbits for company and the surroundings are usually alive with birdsong, with an amazing morning and dusk chorus. Externally the yurt is surrounded by decking and is separated from the campsite in its own private space including a firepit and picnic table; there is parking very close by. Internally the yurt is decorated in an eclectic but chiefly Tibetan style.

Tucked away amongst ash and willow trees and overlooking a bamboo-lined pond, the Dogwood Cabin is a haven of peace and tranquility.  The cosy, heated pine cabin is decorated in an Eastern-style and has a futon double bed with luxurious Egyptian cotton sheets. This fully-insulated retreat has all the modern comforts glampers have come to expect – silent mini-fridge, tea and coffee making facilities and a compost loo – but with one unique difference. Nestled in the heart of the High Weald, in an area of outstanding natural beauty, the cabin affords glampers the chance to experience a real back-to-nature visit. From the comfort of your cabin, you can just slide open the patio doors and let the birdsong fill the cabin as you watch our resident chickens or visiting ducks waddle past. There is even a suntrap meditation deck for those who enjoy quiet, reflective time. In the mornings you can order breakfast brought straight to your door. And at nights, after a meal at the pub, you can warm yourself with your own fire pit and toast marshmallows while looking out for shooting stars in our noted dark skies.

- To keep you warm, your tent is raised off the ground on a deck and your beds are raised within; we also supply an electric fan heater.

Our non-electric pitches are all a little bit away from the central area and located either in the woodlands or close to the lake. These pitches are all grass and best suited to tents but there are a few suitable for campervans.

Bluebell Coppice Park is set within 10 acres of beautiful woodland and is a haven for wildlife. There is a small fishing lake, a children's play park and a woodland walk.

The park offers a variety of camping, glamping, and accommodation options.

Guests are welcome in tents, campervans, conversion, caravans, motorhomes, and trailer tents. There are both electric and non-electric pitches as well as pitches with private bathroom facilities.

Bell tents offer a no-fuss glamping experience. Everything is provided for a warm and comfortable stay. Just bring clothes, food, towels, and a smile.

The woodland lodges are self-contained holiday units with a kitchen and bathroom. These modern holiday homes are perfect for a home away from home holiday.

Dogs are welcome on-site and in our bell tents and lodges and the woodland is an off-lead area.

Brakes Coppice Park is a family-run campsite and is owned and run by Des and Jules.

Rocklands Apartments are set high through to the East Hill with spectacular views on the nation and sea park.
These one and two bedroomed flats are self-contained and fitted to a standard that is high comfortable beds, armchairs and sofas and with everything one would significance of a vacation in Hastings.
The apartments are situated adjacent to our family owned and run caravan that is small with owners only, non-letting, caravans, yet Rocklands is peacefully quiet and relaxing and just a 15 minute walk across the cliff and down, through the lift or the actions, to your Old Town for pubs and restaurants.
Well suited for walking throughout the nationwide nation park and firehills to Pett, Fairlight and Rye or over the coastline to Bexhill as well as Eastbourne or simply relaxing with a glass of wine on the patio or balcony watching the moon shining straight down about the ocean.
We have a no cigarette smoking and no pets policy at Rocklands and only grownups 16 and over can stay static in the apartments.    Each apartment has a kitchen area     (not just tea making facilities).

Oak Valley is a peaceful park welcoming families and kids, away from busy tourist hordes but easily accessible by car to Sussex and its surrounds. There’s loads of space here for small sorts (and big sorts) to run around, and a picnic area with tables and a barbecue for sizzling up lunch or dinner. Can’t be faffed? Two pubs serving food are close to the site.

The site amenities block has clean toilets and free hot water for showers; a washing-up area is also available for guests’ use.

Why not stay at Oak Valley Camping if so, as it's surrounded by the woody stuff and has a heap of hiking trails through the woodland and at the nearby lakes. The Pett Level Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty is a short distance away.
