Alexandra Park is well known because of its diverse and wildlife that is abundant particularly during the Northern end, known as 'Old Roar Gill' that will be now an area Nature book and well worth visiting with binoculars! But Kingfishers and Grey Wagtails can be seen any moment associated with the all over the park and not just in the reserve, particularly during the Bucks-hole Reservoir and Harmers Pond areas year. It's outstanding spot for twitchers of all of the purchases due to the pleasing proximity to your shore, which means many uncommon migrant birds also regularly go to the park, including evening Heron and Little Bittern, as well as the delightfully monikered Honey Buzzard and Ferruginous Duck!The lower park highlights consist of a working sailing pond, old-fashioned bowls green, family members friendly cafe, adventure playground, bandstand, war memorial and helpful information point that is public. The park that is top tennis courts, multi play area, formal flower and rose gardens, reservoirs for fishing (license required) natural woodland and a cute miniature railway that is to be the treasure of this trip for some kids.Various special and regular activities take place in Alexandra Park, mostly through the summer months, including Hastings Beer Festival, different Band Concerts, Play within the Park and interpretive walks and tasks, amongst other items.
