Each Yurt has been individually furnished to the same standard as our boutique bed & breakfast with its own en-suite bathroom, hardwood floors, king-size bed, wood burning stove, indoor seating and mini pop-up kitchen. 

We want your stay in our nomadic yurt to have the same feel luxurious feel as our award-winning Bed & Breakfast so we’ve gone the extra mile to make it really comfortable with little extras to delight you.

The yurts have hardwood flooring that measures 5 metres in diameter giving you ample space to relax. 


On arrival, your king-size bed with memory foam mattress will be made up with luxurious, freshly laundered Egyptian cotton sheets, pillow cases, and duvet. Enjoy fluffy white towels and biodegradable toiletries in your very own private en-suite bathroom. Wooden furniture, coat rack and lots of little extras can also be seen inside.

Your welcome tray includes tea, coffee, fresh milk and bottled water. You will find a mini fridge in your pop-up kitchen to keep your food and drinks nicely chilled.  There is an electric socket to charge your mobile devices and of course you can pack your hairdryer! We’ve added lots of little extras to enhance your glamping experience including electric kettle, cutlery, crockery, pots & pans and even fairy lights and tea lights.

Inside your Yurt the wood burning stove will be set ready for you to light with ample firewood to keep you warm and cosy.  Outside you will find your own private decking with a charcoal BBQ, outdoor table and chairs for al fresco eating, we even provide a gazebo for each Yurt should you need a little shelter!  Once you've eaten you can sit and relax round your fire pit and take in the beautiful surroundings.


We love dogs and have three of our own who will probably come and say hello during your glamping stay at Old Dairy Farm.

Old Dairy Farm is dog friendly so if you wish to bring your own dog or dogs, the cost per pet is £20.00 payable at the time of booking.

We provide a metal screw-in dog lead stake for use by your decking and ask that you keep your dog on a lead at all times whilst on the property, making glamping with your dog a hassle-free experience.

**The Old Dairy Farm** is a peaceful and tranquil escape set in a very pretty spot in the village of **Emsworth** in **Hampshire**, a stone's throw from England’s south coast and a few miles from the **West Sussex** border.  This boutique and very welcoming glamping site has luxurious and beautifully appointed yurts and lovely bed and breakfast accommodation.

The **Nomadic yurts** are seriously gorgeous and perfect for a luxury outdoor experience when you want to camp in the great outdoors but want a few home comforts too.  The Yurts are tucked away in a secluded paddock with stunning views out across the **South Downs** and they are the perfect place to relax, unwind and get away from it all.  And no banging in the tent pegs necessary.  No cramming the car with pots and pans either; your private yurt has everything you could ever need (and possibly more), with smart hardwood flooring, a kingsized bed, ensuite bathroom, wood burner, pop-up kitchen with fridge, kettle, plug sockets, and all the crockery and pots needed to whip up a feast.  If you are cooking in the open air, then charcoal barbeques and fire pits are also provided for each yurt.  The private outside decking area is the ideal place for some al fresco dining.  But it doesn’t stop there!  The wonderful owners at the Old Dairy Farm have gone the extra mile to make this stay one to remember; you will find Egyptian cotton bedding and towels, toiletries, a welcome tray for that emergency cuppa when you arrive, and fairy lights and tea lights for evenings after the sun has gone down. And if you need shelter from the rain each yurt has a little gazebo.  Dogs are very welcome (properly welcome, not just “allowed” - they are dog lovers here) and the farm is surrounded by Hollybank Woods, so there are plenty of walks to keep your four-legged pals happy.

Emsworth is a picturesque fishing village, sitting at the end of **Chichester** harbour and well worth a wander around, with its narrow streets, Georgian houses, antique shops and pretty waterfront.  The harbour itself is very popular with **windsurfers** and water sports enthusiasts and the beautiful views make it a very popular place to visit.  For walkers, there are some stunning nearby walking trails including the Kingley Vale trail, the Southbourne trail and the wildlife-packed **Thorney Island** walking trail.  With the gorgeous beaches of **Hayling Island** and **West Wittering** not far away and the busy coastal city of Portsmouth only fifteen minutes drive, there are many things to explore in the near vicinity of The Old Dairy Farm, so make sure you leave plenty of time to discover all the beautiful beaches and countryside around and about.  

And if the walking has left your legs tired and your muscles aching, get back to the farm and hire out the wood-fired hot tub for the afternoon, sit back, relax and enjoy the tranquil surroundings.  And seeing as it’s all about luxury here, why not leave the shopping for a few days and have some delicious food delivered to your yurt; breakfast hampers, picnics and barbeque hampers are all available, as well as dinners and cakes. Visit Butser Ancient Farm - a distinctive website that is archaeological you can see just what life had been like through the rock Age to the Saxons. And to seal the deal - it offers an animal farm on-site! Butser Ancient Farm provides history buffs the chance to introduce kids to your past in a fun and way that is engaging. You will find various experiences which can be hands-on day for your tots to obtain tangled up in.  Meanwhile, you can see reconstructed homes from 4 periods which are historic Neolithic, Iron age, Roman Britain and Anglo-Saxon. And just to let you understand, the first few episodes of Doctor whom Season 23 were filmed here! As enjoyable whilst the stories through the past can really be, what gets the youngsters raving will be the farm animals. Butser Ancient Farm looks after uncommon types, including pigs, goats and sheep. Feeding the cuddly animal residents is a lovely experience that makes you're feeling warm and inside that is fuzzy.

The Stansted Park Light Railway is a 7 and a quarter inch gauge miniature railway in the grounds of Stanstec House in Hampshire, and next to the Stansted Park Garden Centre. The track is half a mile long and runs through the house grounds. Addititionally there is a 6 road engine shed and workshop, plus a turntable. The railway opened in 2005, with quite modest beginnings, but through the years, the amount of volunteers has grown, along with the locomotive fleet, which has one steam and three petrol hydraulic locomotives. Please be aware that while the railway is totally family friendly, children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.If you fancy making a day of it, there are the Edwardian home and Grounds of Stansted Park, with a Grade II Listed country house set on a 1750 acre estate inside the Southern Downs National Park.
Please note we only run trains on Wednesday and Saturday from 10:30hrs with the last train leaving the station at 15:45hrs.
