Surrounded by stunning Fenland countryside, Fields End Water in Cambridgeshire is a beautifully quiet and peaceful retreat for adults only. Whether you are looking for a couple of nights away or a longer break, Fields End Water is an excellent choice if you want to relax, unwind and explore the pretty local area. It is a large, well laid out, rolling green site, with two highly rated fishing lakes, footpaths, mature shrubs and immaculate pitches. The campsite is very dog friendly and has a number of good local walks plus its very own enclosed space to allow your dog to have a good run around in the safety of the campsite.

This 5-star park constantly gets rave reviews and it is not difficult to see why very happy holiday makers book here again and again. The facilities are excellent and include everything you could possibly need and bags more. Spotless toilet and shower blocks, laundry, wifi, a reception and shop, and an onsite cafe serving excellent meals, drinks and snacks. On top of it all, the staff here are exceptionally friendly and helpful. It’s a happy place. The lovely fishing lakes are charming and tranquil, and open to all who wish to have a go - and it is a pretty serious affair; some absolute corkers have been pulled out of these waters. They are well stocked with carp, chubb, perch and tench among others.

At Fields End Water the large pitches are set out beautifully. There is a huge choice depending on your preferences and whether you are in a tent, a caravan or a large motorhome, with fully serviced pitches (water, electric, grey waste hook-up) or regular pitches (with electric hook up), both on grass and hardstanding, and the large spaces give you plenty of room to set up and have some distance from your neighbour. You can choose to pitch up in the main caravan park, or the grassy paddock or set up your motorhome right near the water’s edge by booking one of their brand new Waterside pitches. Slade Paddock is in the beautiful small village of Witcham, in East Anglia. This is a small and friendly family run site which is on a working farm. Surrounded by farmland and lovely walks, our secure, gated site is well located and close to many great locations to visit.

On-site, we have a charming quirky relaxed pub, called “The Humble Pig”. BBQ’s are allowed on the spacious, open grounds if you’re keen to rustle up food alfresco – we also provide one on-site for your use. All of our pitches are large, flat and closely mowed, and all have 16 amp electric hook up and water. There is also free Wifi available throughout the site.

There is a bus service in the village from the local green which takes you to Ely. We also have a dog walking track directly opposite the site.

Springfield Farm Campsite

Inside the Lincolnshire Fens, Springfield Farm is a prime jumping off spot for exploration of this part of Cambridgeshire  there are tons of trails criss-crossing the Fens that should suit cyclists, ramblers and horseback riders down to the marshland ground, and hire a narrowboat for a day of tootling along the Fens small rivers in March (30 minutes away).

For that sedate experience, net yourself some prime lakeside seating and cast a line out at North View Fishing Lakes, less than a minute s drive or 10 minutes walk from the site, or play a round at the neighbouring Gedney Hill Golf Course instead.

Back on site, there s play equipment, petting animals, table tennis, football and basketball for the whole family  even Rex will be kept busy with a few turns in the enclosed dog walk area. 

If you ve opted to indulge the finest Glamping experience then you ll be able to soothe your aching limbs in the hot tub (just don t forget to prebook) and once you ve worked up an appetite head to the Glamping kitchen or perhaps fire up the barbecue, where any camper is welcome to purchase one of our locally sourced Breakfast or Barbecue packs containing some of Lincolnshire's outstanding homemade produce you just have to try. If you d prefer to eat out why not try one of the many restaurants within a short drive of Springfield Farm.

We have 8 camping pods available for hire. Ideal for those who love the great outdoors but like a few home comforts. In addition to basic Pod fittings of curtains, blinds, lights, an electric heater and sockets, our pods are equipped with a double bed and sofa bed so they can comfortably accommodate 4 adults.

A Freeview television, small fridge, microwave and a kettle are also provided. All you need to do is arrive with your own bedding and cooking equipment. There is a picnic bench and barbecue area in close proximity to each pod. The pods are situated in their own area and are close to the main facility 
block which has toilets, showers, a laundry with dryer, indoor and outdoor washing up areas, disabled shower/toilet and a family bathroom. There is also a small shop on site that sells basic supplies. Available all year round, the pods offer the answer to those of you who wish to camp in comfort and warmth throughout the year.

Two Bedroom Lodge

Set in ten acres of very attractive mature parkland in the village of North Runcton near **Kings Lynn**, is the excellent **Kings Lynn Caravan and Camping Park**; a five star campsite boasting an enviable position in the lovely county of **Norfolk**.  It is a lovely spot and ideal for exploring **Norfolk** and the **Fens** - both areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty - and is also the closest campsite to the historic port and market town of Kings Lynn.

The Park is very well laid out over three fields with ancient trees, shrubs and hedgerow providing a good amount of shelter.  The spacious and well maintained pitches sit on level ground and can accommodate tents, vans, motorhomes and caravans.  There is a choice of grass or hardstanding pitches and electric hook-ups are available.  If you are looking for a **glamping** alternative, then you can hire out one of their **luxurious log pods**; perfect for those who love the great outdoors but prefer a few home comforts!  The heated pods are well equipped with a double bed and sofa bed, TV, microwave, and kettle, so you only need to bring along pots, pans and bedding.  The pods are set in their own area with nearby picnic benches and a BBQ for outdoor dining.  In addition to the pods, there are several eco lodges (two or three bedroomed), which have their own bathroom and toilet, washing machine, TV, electric oven, fridge freezer - and pretty much everything else you would expect in self catering accommodation.  They also have their own private decking area outside.

The camping pitches and the pods share two excellent eco-friendly amenities blocks, which are kept spotlessly clean, are heated, and have very good disabled facilities, as well as a family room with baby changing.  There is also a chemical disposal point, a washing-up area, drinking water points around the site and a laundry room.  At reception there is a good shop for any essentials, plus loads of leaflets from the local tourist information about what’s on in the area, where to explore and what to see nearby.

The campsite is just a stone’s throw from Norfolk's lovely north coast and the seaside towns of Hunstanton, Brancaster, Thornham and - further along the coast - **Wells-next-the-sea**.  Just past Wells is **Blakeney Point Nature Reserve**, where you can see England’s largest grey seal colony; book one of the local ferry trips from **Morston Quay** to get closer to the seals in their natural environment, it’s quite a sight.  For a day on the beach then you are spoilt for choice; Norfolk has some of the best beaches in England -  including **Holkham** beach which was recently voted “Best Beach in the UK” in a survey of travel writers - as well as many nature reserves and RSPB reserves.  Inland, there are numerous National Trust and English Heritage properties to explore, Sandringham, and quaint market towns like Burnham Market, Swaffham and Fakenham.

Fossils Galore offers an experience that is academic is fascinating and enjoyable for several ages.There are a wide range of tasks being offered such as a Dinosaur hunt and a fossil or crystal look in a sand pit. You can pan for gold or break some geodes and there are art and art workshops available, with more new activities coming soon.There is a comprehensive collection of fossils and crystals from around the globe with an abundance of information on show and an amiable person in the group readily available to answer any extra questions.The flooring that is 2nd a planning laboratory, where you could see the team working on a selection of bones from Ice Age animals to deep ocean creatures from the Jurassic era.We suggest that you allow at least two to three hours (if not longer) for your see as there is so much to see and find out about, with a few actually intriguing and stunning items on display.Additional regular events are held throughout the year and Fossil searching trips are available.
