Built on the Roman site of Viroconium, Wroxeter Roman City is a stone’s throw away. Not only that, the Wroxeter Roman Vineyard is a very short distance in the opposite direction and offers tours, tastings and afternoon tea. Local rumour has it that late on a quiet night, you can still hear the echo of Roman soldier’s feet on the road outside…

On approach to the site there are electric gates with a coded entry ensuring our site is secure for your children and dogs.

There is a car park available for parking your vehicles away from the pitch, making the most of your surroundings and spacious pitches.

Locally you will find everything you need for your stay with the local village of Much Wenlock a short distance away.

All electric pitches will have its own coin meter where you put £1 coins in at your leisure.

Perfect for a family (Max. 2 Adults & two children) you’ll find our shepherd’s hut well equipped. You’ll need to bring sleeping bags for your youngsters, but bedding & towels for adults are provided. Included in the Owl’s Nest:
