Origionally set up by two sisters, Fiona & Monica, who both grew up on this farm. It was bought by their Dad in the 70s and is still a working farm. During harvest, you will be able to see the combine and tractors busy at work in the fields.
This is now run by Fiona and her husband Matt has his own workshop on the farm where he makes bespoke furniture but who also helps out when he can. It really is a family run business.
Fiona has walked and played all over the farm and are now looking forward to sharing some of that with you.
We provide the following: Bedding and towels, hot water bottles, blankets, plates, glasses, cutlery, a kettle, toaster, cooking utensils and a small fridge for each unit. A washing up area with hot running water. There is drinking water on-site from a designated tap. There are 4 wheelbarrows available to move your things from the car park to the tent as you won't be able to drive across the field. All units have their own allocated bathrooms bar two of the bell tents, with hot shower and flushing toilet giving you complete privacy. If you have any disabilities, please let us know and we will do whatever we can to accommodate your needs, though please be aware that unfortunately the bathrooms are not wheelchair accessible at this time and the showers are raised, requiring you to step up into them. There is a communal fire pit and 3 x Gas BBQs for anyone to use. Wood can be purchased to use on your brazier or on the communal firepit at £7.50 a bucket. Please bear in mind that we are not based on site, therefore you will need to arrange this with us in advance.
