Bell Tents (Rigel and Vega)

We have a gorgeous 6m bell tent which can sleep 5 (one double futon and three single futons), all beds have pillows and duvets to keep you cosy. The tent has an electric fire stove inside to keep you warm on a chilly night and also its own outside seating area and brazier to have a fire and toast some marshmallows.
We provide the following: Bedding and towels, hot water bottles, blankets, plates, glasses, cutlery, a kettle, toaster, cooking utensils and a small fridge for each unit. A washing up area with hot running water. There is drinking water on-site from a designated tap. There are 4 wheelbarrows available to move your things from the car park to the tent as you won't be able to drive across the field.
The tent has its own allocated bathroom, with hot shower and flushing toilet giving you complete privacy. If you have any disabilities, please let us know and we will do whatever we can to accommodate your needs, though please be aware that unfortunately the bathrooms are not wheelchair accessible at this time and the showers are raised, requiring you to step up into them.
There is a communal fire pit and 3 x Gas BBQs for anyone to use. Wood can be purchased to use on your brazier or on the communal firepit at £7 a bucket. Please bear in mind that we are not based on site, therefore you will need to arrange this with us in advance.

The Cholsey and Wallingford Railway is a preserved previous Great Western Railway branchline that links the railway that is nationwide at Cholsey, aided by the historic market town of Wallingford, Oxfordshire. Trains run on selected weekends and bank vacations through the entire and, where available, are steam hauled year. Weather permitting, a free Bouncy Castle for under 10s will likely be available on operating days that are most at Wallingford, where there is a fresh railway museum.
