The original Elysian Fields is from Greek and Roman mythology and is the paradise awaiting those who had led a particularly virtuous and/or heroic life. We hope that you too will find our Elysian Fields a touch of paradise in Cornwall.

Seven acres of serene space make up the Elysian Fields site, which lies between the little villages of Breage and Ashton and has some scenic views towards Tregonning Hill, as well as distant glimpses of the sea and the cliffs of the Lizard peninsula made from the oldest rocks in the UK.

Pitch up here and you'll also be able to stroll along quiet footpaths to the local villages, both Breage and Ashton. Porthleven with its ancient harbour is just a short distance away as is Praa Sands with its beautiful long sandy beach. The campsite has its own bar and restaurant, Tonys Tavern, with draught Cornish beers and cider. Cornish breakfast or lighter bacon / sausage baps are available in the morning and evening meals including burgers or scampi and chips together with Jackies special homemade meal of the day are on offer. We even deliver to your pitch. If you're happy staying on your pitch we have picnic benches, windbreaks and firepits for hire with a plentiful supply of kiln dried logs to warm up the evening.


Also on site are a playground, a small shop, laundry unit, coin operated washing machine and tumble drier, a freezer to keep your icepacks in, a fridge and microwave free to use. We even have an ironing board if you want to look good for a special occasion.

Our vision. 
 Our aim is always to offer you a sleep that is exclusive break fast experience with clean, comfortable spaces having most of the facilities that you'd expect in a five star hotel along with friendly service and a breakfast option that is 2nd to none.Our Facilities.We have four visitor spaces in total along with a little club area and a large visitor lounge/ morning meal space. There are two guest rooms on the ground floor, each with a king size bed and en-suites being modern.  Theres also offers a daybed for that grouped category of three. Upstairs we've a family group that is large with double bed, two solitary beds and en-suite facilities including a bath. There is certainly an additional upstairs room with a king size sleep and a en-suite that is modern. A babycot is available on request.All our spaces are tastefully decorated in pastel colors with a seaside feel. They include tea and coffee making facilities, a fridge that is tiny mini club. Fresh milk is supplied daily. All spaces have actually flat screen TVs, ipod docking stations, hairdryers, iron & ironing board and a tiny.Wi that is safe.
 Fi is free in all available spaces and through the entire home.
 A power car charging point and a sizable  three door lockable storage where visitors may keep bicycles , motor bikes  or other big  items.At the rear of the home, we've two large areas laid out to grass at the front we now have sufficient parking.  There clearly was a childrens play area, a big firepit that is brand new near the lounge we now have an outdoor area equipped with gas BBQ , patio heater , log burner , tables and chairs  each of that are designed for visitors to utilize.Our breakfasts include a selection of yoghurts and a tremendously wide range of break fast cereals. We provide freshly baked croissants and a fruit salad is made fresh every day. We provide a continental option of sliced meats and cheeses.Our prepared breakfasts use all produce that is locally sourced are cooked to order. You'll have any mixture of eggs, omlettes or the cornish that is full contains, sausages, bacon, hogs pudding, eggs , mushrooms , tomatoes and cooked beans. All associated with fresh toast and a selection of jams, honey and marmalade. There was of program a bite that is light of salmon.Our neighborhood destinations.
 Elysian Fields, that was when an element of the Godolphin Estate, is scheduled in a place of outstanding Beauty that is natural close Helston and the Lizard Peninsula. The home itself faces south east looking towards Porthleven as well as the cliffs of this Lizard beyond.  We have 6 acres of brief areas being grassy the house where there was a countryside footpath causing the nearby villages of Ashton and Breage.  Both have old-fashioned, old bars that do evening meals.The golden beaches of Praa Sands are only a drive that is short as is Poldark mine, the Lizard Peninsula and Flambards entertainment park.  The old, picturesque Cornish harbor of Porthleven can be close by as well as on the drive that is short Penzance youll run into the iconic St Michaels Mount accessible by watercraft at high tide or a quick stroll throughout the causeway at low tide.       

Our twin hut to neighbour Mordros, Morwenna has her own unique character. Also named by our lovely followers on Instagram “Morwenna” whose meaning in Cornish is ‘Waves of the sea’ also has incredible sea view panoramas as well as the views over our sheep farm and beyond towards Porthleven and Loe Bar.

With stunning sea views and easy access to the incredible countryside and coast on your doorstep there is more than enough to keep you busy while camping with us on Trewithick farm.

As we wish to keep the experience as peaceful as possible for our guests we have limited the pitch numbers to just 5 with a maximum of 2 persons per pitch and all guests must be over 16. For a group of more than 2 we just ask you to book multiple pitches.

Alongside our two Shepherds huts we also have 2 off grid campervan pitches available, with hot showers, flushing loos and a wash up station for all of your needs.

With stunning sea views and easy access to the incredible countryside and coast on your doorstep there is more than enough to keep you busy while camping with us on Trewithick farm.

To keep your stay with us truly special we have limited the maximum number of campervan pitches to three at any one time and with a maximum of 2 persons per van and due to access we cannot take any  motorhomes on our small site.

Named by our loyal following on Instagram “Mordros” is Cornish for ‘The Sound Of The Sea’ which is perfectly apt for this beautiful little hut. One has truly panoramic views of the sea from this elevated position and when stormy you can hear the nearby Atlantic crashing against the granite cliffs nearby.

We are a diverse team who share a love for this special part of Cornwall and aim to ensure your stay is memorable. Our small team of three is made up of diverse experience and backgrounds which brings together a unique recipe perfect for running a small campsite in Cornwall and for meeting all of your needs. One of us is a farmer and engineer fabricator for the RNLI, another runs a community interest company and the third member runs a surf travel company and comes from a family of hoteliers.

Tremorvu Shepherds Hut

Tremorvu is bordered by Cornish hedges attracting a good amount of wildlife including foxes, badgers, rabbits, buzzards, owls and swallows.There are distant views regarding the Atlantic Ocean to the South and Penwith Peninsula to the West showcasing sunsets being spectacular. North associated with website is Tregonning Hill, a climb that is satisfying with panoramic views associated with the surrounding areas and additional afield to Mounts Bay, Falmouth, St Agnes Beacon & St Ives. Also, they are close to many of the areas which can be coastal in BBC's Poldark. The coastline that is nearest is Praa Sands 1.5 kilometers away.There is a pub in Ashton Village serving pub grub and neighborhood ales and another within the nearby town of Breage which serves excellent homemade meals utilizing regional produce, a variety of wines and local ales.The Shepherds Hut has got the best place regarding the campsite with stunning ocean views.The Hut  is designed and kitted down for two individuals and it is a great spot for a get away as a result all holiday, an intimate break or Mini-Moon.Inside there is certainly a curtained King Size bed area with luxury mattress raised up to simply take complete advantage of the vista the sleep has squidgy feather filled pillows and a thick feather filled duvet, plus woollen blankets and tosses for those chilly nights! All bed linens and towels are provided and a part of cost and are made prepared for your arrival.There is a well equipped kitchen area that is mini with refrigerator, mini oven/grill, hob, kettle, crockery, glasses, utensils, cooking pots and pans. A fold down dining table is equipped in the Hut with two Elm seats for use inside. A stove that is wood-burning fitted at one end of this Hut and wood comes for burning. Includes free utilization of campsite wi-fi.Outside there clearly was a tiny private garden screened with bamboos and hedging with a charcoal BBQ and wood garden furniture.A path causes a shower/toilet shack that is heated.      

The gold extra large is a large 7 x 20 meter double grass electric pitch with 2 x 10amp electric hook ups.

This pitch can be booked for 2 family’s (2 units) to share or one family / unit who just want double the space.

Everything you bring with you including your cars must be able to fit on the pitch.

Silver Pitch

Unfurnished bell tent ready for you to move in and make it your own - this could be a simple as bringing an airbed, sleeping bag, BBQ and cool box - OR - you could kit it out with all your own luxury camp beds, furniture, home duvets & pillows and full camping kitchen (in an outside shelter) - whatever takes your fancy.

Our 5m Bell Tents has been set up on two of our 9m x 8m Gold electric pitches with newly planted (small) hedges.

The tents will be set on a gravel base (current photos show on grass - these will be updated soon) with a gravel walkway.
There is space for one car only and a grass area out the front for sitting out and enjoying the sunshine.

Gold Pitch

**Polladras Holiday Park** is an absolutely superb and very well presented touring and caravan site, located in the beautiful countryside of **southern Cornwall**.  It is a very popular spot offering camping of all descriptions, including tents, caravans, motorhomes and static self-catering caravans.  Visitors who stay here regularly comment on the brilliant welcome from the very friendly staff, who go out of their way to make sure that your holiday is the best it can be.  Nothing is too much trouble.

This **family-friendly** campsite itself is in a lovely rural location, meaning that you can sit back, relax and appreciate the lovely countryside in complete peace and quiet.  There are a range of pitches to choose from - hardstanding and grass -  with very large grassy pitches available if you are two families.  All the larger pitches have electric hook-ups.  The facilities here are excellent and spotlessly clean; toilets and hot water showers (including a family room and disabled shower room), launderette, free wifi, access to fresh drinking water in every field, a wet suit dunk tank, chemical disposal point and a communal kitchen area with fridge, freezer and microwave.  There is also a play park for children with swings and climbing equipment, an indoor games room with table tennis, a large grassy area with football goals for those wanting a kickabout and for young explorers, a small nature trail runs through the park, with information about hedgerow life.  Your four-legged friends haven’t been forgotten either; there is a large two-acre paddock (with doggy bin) for your dog to run about off the lead.  They really have thought of everything!

Just a few miles down the road is the lovely **Praa Sands beach**, backed by sand dunes and boasting some of the most extraordinarily white sand you’ll ever see.  It’s the perfect beach for sandcastles and the shore is great for splashing about in.  **Porthleven** beach and **Sennan Cove** are also close by; both world-class beach spots.  The ancient market town of **Marazion**, with two sandy beaches and the historic tidal island of **St Michael’s Mount** is well worth a visit and only fifteen minutes away from the campsite.

Although surfing, swimming and beach life are what Cornwall is famous for, it’s not all wetsuits and sandcastles; **Polladras Holiday Park** is also ideally located for many of Cornwall’s best known attractions.  Within a half hour drive you can get to most of the highlights of South-west Cornwall, including **Flambards Theme Park**, **St Ives**, **Falmouth** and the National Trust’s **Gardens of Glendurgan**.   Trebah and Trewithian gardens are also close by.  Walkers will love the variety of different walks along the South West Coast Park, all with stunning views out to sea.  The historic town of **Helston** five miles away is a lovely place to potter around and while you are here, visit the Cornwall Seal Sanctuary, Gunwalloe Church Cove Beach and other sights along the **Lizard Peninsula**.

The site enjoys a peaceful setting just a five minute drive from the coast. We provide a selection of grass pitches with and without electricity, with easy access to Praa Sandsu, Gunwalloe Church Cove Beach, and the pretty fishing village of Porthleven. Electric hook-ups are available, although not to be used for cooking & heating.

Our tent pitches are grass, and we also accommodate campervans (VW size).

Praa Sands provides a 1.5 mile coastline that is sandy is backed by an extended stretch of dunes, normal habitat area and also the village green. The seaside path rises up over steep cliffs providing views over Penzance while the Lizard Peninsular at both ends.
