With stunning sea views and easy access to the incredible countryside and coast on your doorstep there is more than enough to keep you busy while camping with us on Trewithick farm.

As we wish to keep the experience as peaceful as possible for our guests we have limited the pitch numbers to just 5 with a maximum of 2 persons per pitch and all guests must be over 16. For a group of more than 2 we just ask you to book multiple pitches.

The original Elysian Fields is from Greek and Roman mythology and is the paradise awaiting those who had led a particularly virtuous and/or heroic life. We hope that you too will find our Elysian Fields a touch of paradise in Cornwall.

Seven acres of serene space make up the Elysian Fields site, which lies between the little villages of Breage and Ashton and has some scenic views towards Tregonning Hill, as well as distant glimpses of the sea and the cliffs of the Lizard peninsula made from the oldest rocks in the UK.

Pitch up here and you'll also be able to stroll along quiet footpaths to the local villages, both Breage and Ashton. Porthleven with its ancient harbour is just a short distance away as is Praa Sands with its beautiful long sandy beach. The campsite has its own bar and restaurant, Tonys Tavern, with draught Cornish beers and cider. Cornish breakfast or lighter bacon / sausage baps are available in the morning and evening meals including burgers or scampi and chips together with Jackies special homemade meal of the day are on offer. We even deliver to your pitch. If you're happy staying on your pitch we have picnic benches, windbreaks and firepits for hire with a plentiful supply of kiln dried logs to warm up the evening.


Also on site are a playground, a small shop, laundry unit, coin operated washing machine and tumble drier, a freezer to keep your icepacks in, a fridge and microwave free to use. We even have an ironing board if you want to look good for a special occasion.

 Our aim is always to offer you a sleep that is exclusive break fast experience with clean, comfortable spaces having most of the facilities that you'd expect in a five star hotel along with friendly service and a breakfast option that is 2nd to none.Our Facilities.We have four visitor spaces in total along with a little club area and a large visitor lounge/ morning meal space. There are two guest rooms on the ground floor, each with a king size bed and en-suites being modern.  Theres also offers a daybed for that grouped category of three. Upstairs we've a family group that is large with double bed, two solitary beds and en-suite facilities including a bath. There is certainly an additional upstairs room with a king size sleep and a en-suite that is modern. A babycot is available on request.All our spaces are tastefully decorated in pastel colors with a seaside feel. They include tea and coffee making facilities, a fridge that is tiny mini club. Fresh milk is supplied daily. All spaces have actually flat screen TVs, ipod docking stations, hairdryers, iron & ironing board and a tiny.Wi that is safe.
 Fi is free in all available spaces and through the entire home.

A little Italy set within the center of a Cornish village. The site is close to Porthleven and a 5 minute drive from Helston where the nearest Lidl is located. We are also situated near many of the beautiful beaches that Cornwall has to offer.

For a tranquil camping experience, for guests with tents and campervans, look no further than Cherry Masons Fruit Farm. We accept family groups to individual guests. The site enjoys a peaceful setting just a five minute drive from the coast. We provide a selection of grass pitches with and without electricity, with easy access to Praa Sandsu, Gunwalloe Church Cove Beach, and the pretty fishing village of Porthleven. Electric hook-ups are available, although not to be used for cooking & heating.

Our tent pitches are grass, and we also accommodate campervans (VW size).

Please bring your dogs if you wish, we even have giant novelty dog kennels and dog baths (available upon request).

Tremorvu is bordered by Cornish hedges attracting a good amount of wildlife including foxes, badgers, rabbits, buzzards, owls and swallows.There are distant views regarding the Atlantic Ocean to the South and Penwith Peninsula to the West showcasing sunsets being spectacular. With over 12 years coaching experience our head coach Chris Brown (current English team coach) leads a team of 7 coaches  Steve, Theo, Penny, Woody, Huck, Alfie & Anne-Marie. All our coaches have been hand picked to ensure the highest levels of quality and professionalism are achieved on a daily basis for all ages and abilities.

About our Family Surf Lessons. For the 2020 season we will be offering our family surf lesson packages from our beach bases at Gwithian Towans and Praa Sands, where we have inputted COVID-19 Secure Guidelines to ensure customer and staff safety.

Both Gwithian and Praa Sands and very family friendly surf spots. Families make up the majority of our customers base from July  September. We work on an unbeatable 1:8 instructor to student ratio, children 8+ can surf unaided however to ensure any younger siblings dont miss out we are happy for children aged 5-7 to join the lesson as long as they are assisted by a family member. There is not a better family experience to share in Cornwall than surfing, whether its the thrill of all the family standing up and sharing a Party Wave or whether its the entertainment of watching each other wipeout in spectacular fashion.

All of our equipment is kept to the highest standards and is no more than 2 years old. All you will need to bring is a towel, swimsuit and hopefully suncream and our team will do the rest!

Booking your lesson in advance is essential as we have limited number of lesson slots each day to ensure the ultimate uncrowded customer experience.

Family Taster
Surf Lesson
Our family taster surf lesson is aimed at those who have never surfed before or have had a few lessons and need a refresher. Your lesson will be divided into 3 parts A, B & C firstly; on the beach you will learn about safety, your equipment, how to catch waves & get to your feet riding a wave! Then its time to hit the surf and put it all into practice. Lessons are 2 hours long and we provide all equipment. The youngest weve taught is 5 and the oldest 90 so our family lessons really are for all generations.

We will guarantee your family members will all surf in the same group.

2 SURF LESSONS
The Introduction to Surfing package includes two 2-hour surf lessons, which can be taken on consecutive or non-consecutive days and all equipment is provided. After learning the art of standing up in your first lesson we will focus on staying up during the second lesson. The 2 day introduction to surfing will also cover the pro pop-up and speeding up / slowing down techniques. We will guarantee your family members will all surf in the same group.

3 SURF LESSONS
The Family Surf Experience includes three 2-hour surf lessons, which can be taken on consecutive or non-consecutive days and all equipment is provided. In a 3 lesson package we will introduce the art of trimming youre surfboard along a wave, as you now progress towards an improver this is one of the most exciting skills to learn. You will also be coached how to read waves and then ride the wave to the left or right. By lesson 3 the kids will be up on their feet almost 99% of the time, and were confident the adults will have also experienced standing by the third lesson.

5 SURF LESSONS
The Family Surf Package includes five 2-hour surf lessons, which can be taken on consecutive or non-consecutive days and all equipment is provided.

In the Family Surf Package we will take you from enthusiastic beginner to a well-rounded improver. Your coach will work closely with each member of your family covering speed control, trimming, ocean safety, turning your surfboard and paddling beyond the white water to catch your first unbroken Green wave. As well as the unforgettable rides the guarantee each family member will be entertained beyond imagine with the spectacular wipeouts.

On completion of your 5-day course your coach will advise you on what equipment is best for you and put in place a selection of goals to continue your surfing progression.

SURF LESSON
We provide 2-hour bespoke private surf lessons for family groups of three  five individuals, including full equipment hire. We will provide you with your own private coach for your family group. Our private family lessons are aimed at beginner  improver surfers looking to increase the speed of their learning curve, the lessons are also great if you have younger children giving them more 1-to-1 attention to ensure they leave smiling from ear to ear after an unforgettable experience.

All our private lessons include FREE equipment hire after your lesson to allow to continue practising the skills youve just learnt.
