Kirkley Hall Zoological Gardens

Kirkley Hall Zoological Gardens had been initially create as an training that is educational for Northumberland university's animal pupils and exposed as a tourist attraction in the weekends.The zoo now has over 130 species of animal, including reptiles, ring tailed lemurs, wallabies and alpacas to name a few and smaller domestic pets into the petting barn where feeding and managing sessions are run each day. You can find river and forest tracks around the grounds along with an activity centre for children and adults with treetop ropes, rickety bride crossings, a leap of faith and a zip wire that cuts through the air at over 20 kilometers per hour!An educational and fun day trip!
