Surrounded by stunning Fenland countryside, Fields End Water in Cambridgeshire is a beautifully quiet and peaceful retreat for adults only. Whether you are looking for a couple of nights away or a longer break, Fields End Water is an excellent choice if you want to relax, unwind and explore the pretty local area. It is a large, well laid out, rolling green site, with two highly rated fishing lakes, footpaths, mature shrubs and immaculate pitches. The campsite is very dog friendly and has a number of good local walks plus its very own enclosed space to allow your dog to have a good run around in the safety of the campsite.

This 5-star park constantly gets rave reviews and it is not difficult to see why very happy holiday makers book here again and again. The facilities are excellent and include everything you could possibly need and bags more. Spotless toilet and shower blocks, laundry, wifi, a reception and shop, and an onsite cafe serving excellent meals, drinks and snacks. On top of it all, the staff here are exceptionally friendly and helpful. It’s a happy place. The lovely fishing lakes are charming and tranquil, and open to all who wish to have a go - and it is a pretty serious affair; some absolute corkers have been pulled out of these waters. They are well stocked with carp, chubb, perch and tench among others.

At Fields End Water the large pitches are set out beautifully. There is a huge choice depending on your preferences and whether you are in a tent, a caravan or a large motorhome, with fully serviced pitches (water, electric, grey waste hook-up) or regular pitches (with electric hook up), both on grass and hardstanding, and the large spaces give you plenty of room to set up and have some distance from your neighbour. You can choose to pitch up in the main caravan park, or the grassy paddock or set up your motorhome right near the water’s edge by booking one of their brand new Waterside pitches. The campsite is a stone's throw from the stunning RSPB Ouse Fen reserve, a stroll away from the beautiful Fen Drayton Lakes and River Great Ouse, and a cycle or bus ride away from Cambridge.

Campervans are limited to the panel van derived type and to a maximum of 6m in length. 'Coach-built' vans/motorhomes are not permitted.
Commercial vehicles (those used for work-related purposes, carrying goods or fare-paying passengers) and sign-written vehicles are not permitted on site except where prior approval has been given.
Additional cars are not permitted when travelling with a campervan.

Slade Paddock is in the beautiful small village of Witcham, in East Anglia. This is a small and friendly family run site which is on a working farm. Surrounded by farmland and lovely walks, our secure, gated site is well located and close to many great locations to visit.

On-site, we have a charming quirky relaxed pub, called “The Humble Pig”. BBQ’s are allowed on the spacious, open grounds if you’re keen to rustle up food alfresco – we also provide one on-site for your use. All of our pitches are large, flat and closely mowed, and all have 16 amp electric hook up and water. There is also free Wifi available throughout the site.

There is a bus service in the village from the local green which takes you to Ely. We also have a dog walking track directly opposite the site.

Our VW Caddy Campervans are awesome. They are small & stand out in the crowd plus have all the equipment that the bigger VW models have. Easy to drive, good MPG, unlimited mileage with insurance & breakdown included, gives a worry-free journey. The van has diesel heating for the colder times, a kitchenette with a stove, sink & fridge, with a table & chairs for alfresco dining. The campervan can sleep up to 4, with 2 in the van & 2 in the Roof Top Tent.

For 2022, we now have 3 VW campervans for hire. DK1, DK2 & yes you guessed it DK3. The last 2 have a brand new design inside. With plywood furniture, tan & tweed seats, we have really embraced the scandi/vanlife vibe. Unfortunately, you wont be able to choose which model you get, however, rest assured, all vans are as awesome as each other.

This 4th generation farm has been in the Gould family for nearly a century growing combinable crops & sugar beet, as well as being the home for some sheep & cattle. We love to see visitors enjoying all that our beautiful farm has to offer. We began welcoming caravan club members in 1990, and throughout the year boats use our beautifully maintained facilities for moorings.

In recent years we have seen an increasing number of swimmers, canoeists and campers making use of our various entry points into the River Nene. We have also begun to host wedding receptions in our field which backs onto the historic Fotheringhay Church, with many of the guests making use of our camping facilities.

In recent years we have hosted Scout & Duke of Edinburgh groups, childrens and adult birthday weekends, caravan rallies, Richard III enthusiasts & many more.

Take pleasure in the lovely environment of a quaint, little, 17th-century town within the countryside along with its recently reconstructed farm buildings. You will end up astonished how calm you will feel after a peaceful afternoon in this old-timely museum that is little. Turn your trip to Ramsey Rural Museum into storytime using the children. Every product into the museum has an account that is individual tell. From old farm machinery, to cobblers which can be ancient stores and pharmacies, to World War 2 exhibits - you will discover yourself completely captivated by the annals behind the objects. You'll also find an exhibit looking at regional legends and folklore. And when you'll need some knowledge that is additional just ask the staff. They are all volunteers, so they are absolutely passionate about Ramsey Rural Museum. Simply take the chance to peek into very own family history and go through the museum's extensive archives. When you dive into the paperwork, maps and photographs, there is no telling what you'll find! And you will make a photocopy to simply take house.Bring a picnic basket and enjoy a family meal outdoor if you do come across an old picture of the great grand-parents. Ramsey Rural Museum is in rural Cambridgeshire, all things considered - it would be a shame to not benefit from the atmosphere that is fresh!

Their loved ones friendly TenPin Bowing Centre is available daily but it's recommended to book ahead because there are just 4 size that is complete. Admittedly they truly are really contemporary and well maintained though, with animated layouts, each lane accommodating 8 players easily so plenty of space for family members tournaments which can be most! Bowling could be the equaliser that is great with all the bumpers up and also the ball ramp on hand, the kids stay as much chance once we do! Elsewhere on site you can enjoy a selection of 4 tennis courses, with 3 of these being for appropriate golf (so although no age limits there is an expression that is common minimum to play on the course) and an extra Pitch and Putt course which welcomes families. There is also a floodlit range that is driving once again that's for the older kinds taking it seriously, maybe not for playing about on.
They offer Junior classes for the children who want to take it further, which are an hour long and held one an inside 6 week obstructs, operating at weekend to fit around school week. However you can also book simply a one off concept to see if it matches your children or not. Handy!
