This year our Cowslip yurt moved into The Glade; an exclusive, private part of the farm, surrounded by trees, a wild pond and its own little footpath style entrance, as well as its own unique handmade long framed tipi equipped as an indoor-outdoor kitchen and dining area.

We have 2 unique eco-yurt stays, both come fully equipped with comfy beds, log burners, furniture, equipped kitchen with stove, cooking ware and drinking water sink, solar lighting, outdoor standing BBQ, large circle fire pit and a compost loo and hot shower.

We offer a unique ‘back to basics’ camping experience on our working farm in Derbyshire. Our limited facilities are offset by the panoramic views of the Peak District and stunning sunsets to the west.

-   No fixed pitches; campers use a selection of fields dependent on livestock grazing and haymaking.
-    No electricity hook-up; enjoy the sounds of the countryside without your hair-dryer or DAB radio.
-    No hot water or showers for campers; mains drinking water taps on bright blue pipes are available in the fields for your use.
-    Environmentally friendly; compost toilets and long-drops facilities.
-    We allow campfires; provided no damage to the ground is caused, i.e the fire is on a fire pan, brazier or BBQ. We have handmade fire pan’s available for use free of charge.
-    Large log bags; available to buy for £5 a bag, one bag will last three-four hours burning, or bring your own! (no nails please)
-    Well-behaved dogs; are allowed by arrangement. We have free-range livestock including lambs and poultry, so dogs must be kept under close control at all times.

There is plenty of room next to each pitch for awnings and sitting out at the side or front.  BBQs and fire pits are great as long as raised off the ground and unless the grass is tinder dry in Summer.

 The shepherd's huts can sleep up to two people on either a self-catered basis or with a choice of breakfast hampers delivered to your door. We are dog friendly and don’t charge extra, however, we kindly ask that they are kept off the furnishings and should any damage occur the hirer is responsible for costs.

The Switchback roller-coaster, Ladybird Ride while the water canyon ride, Gully's Pirate Adventure for non-stop adventure, particularly directed at kids aged 2 to 13, go to Gulliver's Kingdom in Derbyshire.There are plenty of rides to choose from, like the Crazy Barrel Ride. You can also enjoy the fabulous views of this Derbyshire that is stunning hillside certain areas associated with park, including the log flume with its altitude of 629 ft! The Western World and Pirates Enjoy area are great for older kids, whilst more youthful ones will love Toy Land along with its choice that is great of trips and destinations for the under-5s. Do not forget to consider Gully and buddies, and several dinosaur attractions which are dotted all over the park and complete every day down in the interior play area to burn off that last bit of energy ahead of the journey home.A great outing for toddlers and older kids alike!
