As Airstreamers our aim was to create a Glamping Ground for people who are as passionate as us about Glamping.. 

We named our Airstream Ettie after my Grandma, when we bought Ettie we put her in the field and called it "Ettie's Field" so when we were thinking of a name and we went through a few!! It dawned on us that we had already named it!! Ettie's Field!!!

We welcome children at Ettie's Field but we have not designed the site around children, we do not have a playground or allow any type of ball, frisbee games or kite flying on Ettie's Field, if those are a must maybe Ettie's Field isn't suitable.

Situated in the heart of the New national forest New Forest View is a small privately run site. The site caters for touring vans and motorhomes. There is a small fishing pond visitors may fish for a small charge by prior arrangement. Access could not be easier being less than 2 miles from junctions 11 & 12 of the M42 Motorway. Birmingham, Nottingham, Leicester, Derby and Coventry are just a short drive away. The site is next door to the Oddhouse Inn. This old coaching Inn dates back to the 1700s and offers real Ale and home cooked food.

The 3 stations in the Battlefield Line Railway are Shenton (a prize winner), marketplace Bosworth and Shackerston, the latter of that will be the HQ station where you'll find the loco shed and primary stock that is rolling their Victorian Tea area and Souvenir Shop. There's disabled access throughout all 3 stations and loos at Shenton and Shackerton.It must be noted on approach that the signs for Battlefield Visitor Centre don't just take you to the place, instead to an attraction some quarter-hour' disappear (which can be also worth a look around if you've plenty of time). The walk is definately not a distressing one and you may stroll alongside Ashby Canal too, but then there clearly was parking at all the stations too.Trains operate on weekends between March and November plus on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday during July and August, just Wednesdays in September and through the entire half term days in October if you like not to.
