One motorhome, caravan or campervan per pitch. The 5 caravan and motorhome pitches are arranged like spokes so that each has uninterrupted views north wards over the Derbyshire Dales.  There is plenty of room next to each pitch for awnings and sitting out at the side or front.  BBQs and fire pits are great as long as raised off the ground and unless the grass is tinder dry in Summer.

Safe for toddlers and pets, the outside decking is enclosed and has a table and chairs with footstools, so you can put your feet up and enjoy a BBQ and eating alfresco.

With two generous sized bedrooms the cabin is perfect for couples or smaller families. If you are a group of friends the beds in the master bedroom are zip and link and can be made up as singles.

There’s no queuing for the facilities as there are two bathrooms in Hipley cabin. Relax in the luxurious whirlpool bath or enjoy a refreshing shower in the accessible wet room.

We offer a unique ‘back to basics’ camping experience on our working farm in Derbyshire. Our limited facilities are offset by the panoramic views of the Peak District and stunning sunsets to the west.

-   No fixed pitches; campers use a selection of fields dependent on livestock grazing and haymaking.
-    No electricity hook-up; enjoy the sounds of the countryside without your hair-dryer or DAB radio.
-    No hot water or showers for campers; mains drinking water taps on bright blue pipes are available in the fields for your use.
-    Environmentally friendly; compost toilets and long-drops facilities.
-    We allow campfires; provided no damage to the ground is caused, i.e the fire is on a fire pan, brazier or BBQ. We have handmade fire pan’s available for use free of charge.
-    Large log bags; available to buy for £5 a bag, one bag will last three-four hours burning, or bring your own! (no nails please)
-    Well-behaved dogs; are allowed by arrangement. We have free-range livestock including lambs and poultry, so dogs must be kept under close control at all times.

Situated on the edge of the Peak District National Park, the land on which New House Farm stands has a rich and exciting history. People have worked this land from prehistoric times, leaving many traces visible on the farm. This sense of history gives the farm a remarkable atmosphere that is almost timeless.

We are a working organic family farm offering a ‘back to basics camping experience - and now have 2 gorgeous handmade yurts. Our limited facilities are offset by the panoramic views of the Peak District National Park and stunning sunsets to the west.

We have 2 unique eco-yurt stays, both come fully equipped with comfy beds, log burners, furniture, equipped kitchen with stove, cooking ware and drinking water sink,  solar lighting, outdoor standing BBQ, large circle fire pit and a compost loo and hot shower! We hope to have our homemade log burning sauna ready for Autumn 2022.

Basic camping at New House Farm means cold water, compost loos, no showers, and meeting the very free-range animals and poultry. No electricity hook-up, enjoy the sounds of the countryside without your hair dryer or DAB radio.

At New House Farm we care about food production. We’re concerned about animal welfare. We’re passionate about preserving the environment around us and creating a sustainable industry, and we understand the important link between the food we eat and our health. Our organic produce includes beef and lamb, plus pork products from a local farm. We can also supply salad in season from the farm. Our very free-range chickens roost in the sycamore tree in the garden and lay fabulous eggs - we also sell our duck and goose eggs in season.

Conservation is important. We have wildflower meadows, ancient pasture land with ridge and furrow, newly planted woodland and hedgerows, a new pond, willow beds.

We have also put together an archaeology trail with an accompanying guide book that you can use on your visit to explore the land in more detail and 'read the landscape' to discover over 4000 years of human activity.

NOTES The yurts came as a unit, and the prices do not change according to capacity, whether you are 1 or 6, the price is the same. However, for camping we charge per person per night: £10 for adults, £4 for children. (No charge for children under 3 years old.) Fire pits are provided free of charge, and wood is available to purchase. Fresh produce is available from the farm shop

Damson Pod

We have three private and exclusive glamping pods which boast fantastic views over the valley towards Carsington Water. You can escape to the peace and quiet of our rural farm yet within easy reach of Ashbourne (3 miles) and nearby cities of Derby, Nottingham and Sheffield. We are located on the edge of the Peak District and have plenty of walking and cycle routes on the doorstep. 

Our facilities are built with quality in mind with cedar cladding, fully insulated and eco-powered and heated by the farm wind turbine. The view from the pods over the valley and Carsington Water is beautiful particularly in the morning. Not just in sunshine, the changing weather patterns create some spectacular scenes especially during Autumn and Winter. All can be enjoyed and viewed from inside the cosy glamping pods too.

Damson and Bluebell Pods each sleep two guests, ideal for couples and Lavender Pod sleeps up to four guests, ideal for families. Groups of eight can enjoy exclusive hire of our glamping site, great for a family or friends Peak District gathering. Damson and Lavender Pods are pet friendly too.

We are open all year around and as a family run business we don't believe in hiking the prices in school holidays so we don't.

We just have a minimum of a three-night weekend or four-night midweek stay during school holidays.

Our Damson Pod and Lavender Pod are pet friendly and we welcome well behaved dogs on our farm. As we have sheep and cattle roaming around your glamping pods, we have to limit this to two in each pod per stay and must be kept on leads at all times.



**Directions to Mulino Pods:**

If you are arriving by public transport the nearest train station is either Derby, Belper or Uttoxeter. There are then bus routes to the town of Ashbourne and a taxi thereafter is necessary. 
We are in a rural location, approximately 35-45 minutes footpath walk to the nearest village of Kniveton (and bus stop).

We are first and foremost a quiet country campsite. ​ We are not in any way commercial, and look to serve ordinary down to earth customers, looking for a friendly peaceful escape. You may hear tractors in the lanes & fields, cows and sheep are also in the fields near the site as this is a farming community. ​ Hopefully you will be able to recharge with lovely fresh air, long country walks and great Derbyshire hospitality. ​ Loud music is not allowed, no noise after 10pm and before 8am.

Four Person Tent

Great little Peak District Campsite on the edge of a picturesque White Peak Village
Ideally located 4 mins walk from a great village pub and a wonderful cafe, both on the Village Green, just handy for the campsite.

Dozens of fantastic walks lead directly from the campsite. You can choose to walk through the droving lanes of the village, up onto the moors, the Tissington Trail to the cycle hire or venture down the breathtaking Lathkill Dale, a national nature reserve that follows the Limestone Gorge to the east of the village.

A family farm ice cream parlour is on the edge of the village along with other eateries and a local fuel station. Close by we have other small village shops and many wonderful farm shops.


Loud music is not allowed, no noise after 10pm and before 8am.

Lathkill Dale Campground

Tucked away from the main road, our CL site is situated on a working dairy farm between the hamlet of Hardstoft and the village of Pilsley. The site is just less than 1 acre in size and has 5 level hardstanding pitches, all with individual electric hook ups and water supplies. The site benefits from the sun all day (weather permitting!) due to its orientation - perfect for relaxing breaks. For the explorers, our CL makes access to the Five Pitts Trail easy; the scenic route of this trail crosses the farm drive.

The Hub at Gladstone is a community that is historic where both you and your small bean can chill out with storytelling, infant massages and delicious treats from local suppliers.The Hub has an art form gallery, a museum, in addition to a library and reading lounge for some quiet hours. What is great you closer together about it though is their focus on baby/ toddler fun, like their sensory space which features a variety of engaging activities and equipment.Baby therapeutic massage is a relatively new concept in the conventional it is an incredible option to stimulate their disease fighting capability, relax their emotions and bring. The group here are genuine champions of this concept and make certain you will probably be too! They also add a spot of storytelling since the combination of real intimacy and imagination supposedly inspires imagination in kids at an age that is early.

The Hub at Gladstone

Chuckles Enjoy Centre is an play that is interior with bouncy castles and ride-ons for children aged under 12 years and with a enclosed area for toddlers under a couple of years. The age limitation is strict for safety purposes so families with kids over 12 years simply take note!The play centre offers events and contains a disco space along with lots of toys, soft play structures and enjoyable features. The Under 2s area has some cool drive that is sit-in, animal themed rockers, soft construction materials and squishy toys plus walkers and a soft cubby home.They offer fully exclusive private party options too in order to have the complete destination to yourselves! There is also a snack bar offering a range of hot and cool drinks and treats if you feel a bit adventure that is peckish.Soft and part play are great for assisting your kids develop, both in social and gross engine terms! It will additionally help to keep them fit and active, and provide you with a break when it is raining outside and it feels as though your house is too small and too high in fizzy kids! Bring them here for some hours and allow them to run the buzz away from merely being little people and allow another person make the coffee: you all deserve it!

Chuckles Play Centre

 Welcome to Asylum Skatepark!  We're a family group owned park with a area that is 14,000sq-ft to extreme recreations (MTB, BMX, inline, skateboard and scooter), to accommodate for younger audience we have lessons available upon request, please phone before arrival to double check an instructor can be obtained.  Ramps vary in proportions for several participants, old or young, beginners or expert. Most people are welcome! As these sports could be dangerous, it's very highly recommended that protective items are worn, helmets are compulsory for individuals underneath the chronilogical age of 18, we don't employ helmets therefore be sure to bring your very own or purchase one from our shop. Bikes are around for hire at an cost that is extra of for bikes.  Participants who are visiting for the days being first beneath the chronilogical age of 16, a parental or guardian signed disclaimer is needed, this is filled in upon arrival or downloaded from our web site through the hyperlink. There's a new trails which are outdoor now being developed too, but closed until Spring 2016 for massive additions and improvements! Exciting!
