Whitemoor Farm is set on a picturesque small farm overlooking the village of Bishops Tawton, just a couple of miles from the North Devon coast. It offers lovely views over the Taw Valley in a peaceful and tranquil setting surrounded by pasture, grazed by sheep.

Off the beaten track and away from traffic it is less than 2 miles from Barnstaple and 15 minutes drive from the beautiful sandy beaches of Saunton Sands, Croyde Bay and Putsborough Beach and also from the foothills and breath-taking scenery of the Exmoor National Park. There is easy access to the Tarka Trail and to National Cycleway 3 directly from the site.

Our beautiful shepherd hut is situated right on the edge of Exmoor with fabulous views up to the moor and also down to the sea. Our hut is lovingly handcrafted, fully insulated with cast wheels and is the perfect place to unwind and relax.

You are welcome to bring a tent for the duration of your booking in the shepherds hut. We do not allow any campers who aren’t connected with the Shepherd Hut so the site remains exclusive. Camping is in addition to the shepherd hut tariff at the rate of £10 per child per night and £15 per adult per night.

This camping is situated in the beautiful orchard, sourounded by the wonderful nature of Treyhill Farm. 
There are no deligated pitches here, so you are free to pitch up wherever you like. 
Wake up to the wonderful fresh air of the countryside aswell as the chickens wishing you a good morning! 
The shared shower and toilets facilities are a short walk to the back of our farm, as well as a washing up area and a wood shed.
We also provide cooking equipment available.
You can hire a fire pit, wood and kindiling for a £8 fee.. all ready to toast those marshmellows and star gaze on a wonderful night here at the farm. 
**please always call for availability if there is none on the website as we may  be able to squeeze you in**

The beautiful Orchard Beauty bell tent is situated in a small, cosy orchard. Where you wake up to the fresh air of the countryside as well as the chickens wishing you a good morning! 
This bell tent has everything you need to have a wonderful home away from home stay. 
Provided with a kettle, drinkwear, fresh water on arrival as well as fresh bedding and towels. 
Outside you are provided with a fire pit and for a small addional price you can purchase wood and kindling. Picture toasting some marshmellows while star gazing at the night sky. 
Orchard Beauty is lit by fairlights inside and outside, to experince that cosy relaxing feel.

The beauiful rustic Lucys shepherd's hut is fit for that perfect relaxing off-the-grid getaway. 
From its very own little log burner to keep you warm on those colder nights to the small touches of fresh flowers and fairy lights this is truly a magical space. 
Equipped with cooking equipment, drinkware and fresh bedding. 
Also enjoy the outside fire pit, with the option of logs and kindling for a small additional price. Picture toasting marshmallows while star gazing on a cozy night.
Although this accommodation does not supply electricity the team is always available to show where you can charge your devices. 
Outside seating is also provided when you're enjoying those tasty cooked meals. 
**please note this Shepherds hut is situated in the orchard along with bell tents and campers, however you still will have your own outdoor space to make it feel private**

Perfect for any holiday break, these are the main meadows some 25 acres of beautiful lush green meadows, with the occasional picnic bench and stunning views across the valley. Choose a spot and pitch-up mind the wild pheasant that potter around the field. Ideal for larger parties Remember this is eco rustic wild camping without any frills, but within a safe environment on a fully working farm. It gives you chance to be at one with nature and your surroundings. Children under 1 years old are included, 2 to 16 Years old, please add these on the extras after you have booked the adults on the next screen.

A two room eco style glamping barrel with a double bedroom and the family area has a double sofa bed and small table and chairs, complete with outdoor bbq cooking area and picnic bench. The Eco Toilets and a Hot shower are a short walk from the Pod. Set main meadow which is around 30 acres has the Taw river surrounding its boundary. The Pod is 5 metres from the waters edge within the woodland, relax at the picnic table included and see and hear that beautiful relaxing sound. Battery lights inside, as its completely off grid.

Breakfast Hamper

The main meadow which is around 25 acres has the Taw river surrounding its boundary. The water is crystal clear and there are amazing areas where you can paddle and deeper areas to have a swim. These pitch-up areas are limited but all within 5 metres of the waters edge. Wild life ranges fro families of geese, ducks and the occasional swan, and occasionally you can see the odd salmon fish jumping out the river. Remember this is eco rustic wild camping without any frills, but within a safe environment on a fully working farm. It gives you chance to be at one with nature and your surroundings.

Pre-pitched unfurnished 5m diameter Lotus Belle tents available to rent. Fire-pit provided but bring all your other camping equipment.  Sorry dogs cannot be accommodated in these tents.

As this is a completely rural location, well away from houses and amenities, the facilities are basic allowing you to experience true wild camping.  A main’s water tap providing fresh drinking water, a sink with cold water for washing up and toilet facilities are provided.  Showers are not available but you are welcome to bring your own portable one.

Pre-Pitched Unfurnished Lotus Belle Tent

Extremely generously sized unmarked pitches so you can choose your favourite location. Up to 6 adults are allowed per pitch, booking a pitch includes two adults, a car and a dog. 

There is plenty of space for children to run around in and we also have toilets and cold mains water for drinking and washing up.



Cheglinch Camping

Funderzone Indoor Soft Play Centre is for kids from young children to 12 olds year. Tasks for all many years, very young children have their very play area that is very own. You can find numerous degrees of adventure ball that is including, astro slides, cargo nets, spooky maze and much more.
