The village of Hope is a short distance away from Oaker Farm Cottages and offers a wide range of amenities – deli, Spar open until 10pm, Indian restaurant and takeaway, butchers with a wide range of local produce, as well as a bus stop, train station and vibrant Sheffield is only 30 minutes drive away.

There is  a space that is twin bath with lavatory and a triple bunkroom upstairs.This cottage shares an outdoor patio are with Daisy cottage overlooking the wonderful Yorkshire countryside.The cottage is situated in the centre of a working cattle and sheep farm and visitors are welcome to check round the farm accompanied by one of many family (bring your wellies!).

Lightwood Farm Caravan Site is a Caravan Club Certified Location, just minutes from the centre of Sheffield, but in a beautiful pocket of Moss Valley countryside not far from the Peak District.

Our site is by all means quite simple, but we think that adds to its charm. It also boasts the best sunrise view in the Moss Valley. Our 5 pitches, each have hook up and an individual water tap. A chemical emptying point, recycling and rubbish bins are provided at Lightwood Farm – a short 150m walk away (or drive if you wish). We encourage you to recycle as much as possible.

The air conditioned Wacky Warehouse at the Chequers offers a bright and roomy indoor play ground for kids to have some exercise on and work out some brand new friends, with lots of features from tunnels and slides to bridges and ball pits, surrounded on all sides by high-end cushioning about with abandon so they can toss on their own. The folk that is tiny isn't any less impressive with soft colourful options into the enclosed zone including soft construction materials, pleasing characters and sensory stimulation toys to facilitate all facets of child development. You can find art sessions regularly available right here as always but there is however no area that is outdoor.
