Long Meadow Campsite

Our aim is to provide a family friendly site, offering ‘real’ camping where we hope you can unwind and get away from the daily rush.

About our site:

Flat peaceful field with a wonderful view down the valley Pick your own spot (please keep 6 metres between tents) Campfires allowed (with a fire-pit) Warm showers Composting loos supplied by thunderboxand l'uritonnoir. Don’t worry, these are clean and efficient and we will have more available this year! 

Dogs allowed free of charge (but must be kept on a lead as we don’t want our sheep chased, and of course please tidy up after them) Free use of freezer for ice packs 10 minute walk from the farm entrance down a quiet country lane to the open forest 5 minute drive from the coastal town of Lymington Afraid we cannot accommodate caravans/motor homes and we do not provide electric hookups.

   5m bell tent with zipped ground sheet and matting

   Campsite pitch fees for up to 4 people.

   The tents comfortably sleep 4 but if you have more children can accommodate 6.

   Extra charge per 5th/6th person £15 per person/night

Beds:

   Double Pallet bed with mattress and waterproof cover or double camp bed

   Single camp beds for 3rd/4th person

   Please bring your own bedding and pillows


Other:

   Out door table and chairs

   Firepit (logs for sale from the farm)

   Please bring your own cooking equipment and utensils

Loos:

Composting loos, these are eco-friendly and in line with our farms environmentally friendly ethos.  Hand made with cedar wood which gives a lovely natural wood aroma smelling much better than event chemical loos.  These are cleaned regularly.  Please let your party know we do not have flushing loos.

Showers:

Not far from your tent you have access to the main showers of Teddy’s farm campsite.  These are hot 24 hours a day.  They are rustic, adding to the charm of the campsite and we have had excellent feedback from our campers regarding the showers.

At the main campsite barn we have  a manned area selling:

   logs for your firepit

   our farm reared pasture-fed lamb

   New Forest ice creams

   local strawberries (in season)

   honesty shop for basic provisions

   Coffee van or stall selling freshly brewed coffee


Pre-Pitched Bell Tent

Teddy's Farm

Stay in the heart of the New Forest National Park in complete camping luxury! We offer hire of pre-erected bell tents with matting, electric hook-up and lamp, raised double airbed, and outside a picnic bench and fire pit to enjoy evenings under the stars! The bell tents are set up for couples, but for families we can provide up to 2 single airbeds. The booking package includes your pitch fee and use of the toilets and showers on the campsite.

Max guests are 2 adults and up to 2 children in each tent, though bedding for any single beds would need to be provided by the guests.

Knightwood Bell Tent

If you are looking for a private glamping experience, we also have our wooded glade setting, with fully furnished bell tent on your own pitch under the trees. Everything you could need, including 'proper' double bed and bedding, cooking equipment, kitchen area, parking and outside seating with fire pit.

Max guests are 2 adults and up to 2 children in each tent, though bedding for any single beds would need to be provided by the guests.

Minstead Manor Farm Glamping & Camping

Brockenhurst Riding Stables (formerly Burley Manor Riding Stables) welcomes young ones over 4 years old in the future and present riding a chance on each one or two hour rides, plus occasions which can be special. Just take the chance to uncover the breathtaking New Forest area on a horseback that is peaceful.You will definitely have to contact the stables beforehand to make sure of scheduling mounted suitable to your riders' experience degree, with all sizes and temperaments (the horses this will be) available. The staff are particularly friendly and supportive therefore it is an excellent point that is starting absolute beginners.Prices are available on demand due to the amount of personal tailoring that will enter your trek, with regards to the age and capacity for team people amongst other items.
