Minstead Manor Farm sits in the heart of the New Forest National Park. Comprising both woodland and parkland, the farm supports a modest sheep enterprise and other agricultural diversification activities.
We have been running our small campsite since 1997 and continue to welcome both new and returning campers. We have also started a small glamping enterprise – Silver Bells.
We produce grass fed lamb as well as free range eggs, and also supply a small amount of venison to a local game dealer.
For tents, we need to check dimensions, so please have this info available. All standard pitches are 6m x 6m, with 2 XL pitches of 7m x 8m. Dogs are welcome as long as kept on leads, and BBQ’s are permitted as long as raised off the ground.
Minstead Manor Farm is located between the villages of Emery Down and Minstead. Emery Down offers a popular country pub, The New Forest Inn, great for lunch after a morning walk in the forest.
Minstead is brimming with local history, including the church where Sir Arthur Conan Doyle is buried. It also has the Trusty Servant Inn - another popular pub. Furzey Gardens offer 8 acres of landscaped garden, with beautiful scenes all year round.
Lyndhurst, the largest village in the New Forest, is approximately 1 ½ miles away and offers a range of attractions, including shops, supermarket & Co-op, visitor museum, art galleries, cafes and pubs.
The New Forest has many other places to explore, all within easy reach of the site.
