Gunsgreen home, when called a palace that is splendid by a smugglers was built in 1753 by local merchant (read-smuggler!) John Nisbet. Your house keeps many of its original features and has now now been restored and exposed to the public.within the cellars, where Nisbet might have concealed his contraband products, there was an smuggling museum that is interactive. You can decorate as a smuggler, crawl through hidden tunnels and hide in barrels to spook mum and dad! Touch, smell and discover all of the previous history of smuggling at Gunsgreen.
