Cardigan Island Coastal Farm Park is located in the southern part of Cardigan Bay on a picturesque headland overlooking the Teifi estuary, Pembrokeshire Coast National Park and of course the nature reserve of Cardigan Island which is home to an array of bird life and just 200 metres offshore. Part of Clyn-Yr-Ynys Farm, the Farm Park was set up in 1993 and it is very much a family run business.
There are a variety of friendly farm animals to see including pigs, sheep, goats, rare breed cattle, ponies, chickens, rabbits, guinea pigs, donkeys and alpaca. A small colony of Atlantic grey seals breed in the many caves located within the cliffs of the Farm Park, and can be seen virtually every day the park is open. Dolphins and porpoises are also frequently seen from the cliffs; they are easier to spot on calm sunny days, especially at high tide.
So say hello to our various farm animals; enjoy our fenced clifftop walk to the headland from where you can watch the seals or spot dolphins; browse in our gift shop, with a selection of toys as well as local and Welsh crafts; children will enjoy our indoor and outdoor play areas; or just have a bite to eat in our cafe and enjoy the scenery. We hope you enjoy your visit!
