Lakeland Miniature Village features over 100 structures made from regional Coniston slate, all of which have been carefully handcrafted with hand tools only, no equipment! This provides an understanding that is fascinating the historic buildings of Lakeland, all created by one man.This is a lovely small place to spend 30 minutes roughly, marvelling at these lovely little structures, which depict farms and Cumbrian houses, including classics for instance the house of Beatrix Potter, Hill Top.
