Wandlebury Country Park

The stays of a 5th Century BC Iron Age Hill Fort (a Scheduled Ancient Monument), walks over some 8 miles (12 kilometer) of meandering footpaths: Wandlebury using its unhurried space provides a great experience for several ages!The Park (a County Wildlife Site) is handled by the Ranger provider and volunteers to safeguard and enhance nature; protect and respect the environmental surroundings with 110 acres (40 ha) of stunning woods and chalk grassland. The grasslands are handled under a DEFRA Countryside Stewardship Agreement, to boost types diversity and tend to be grazed by Texel sheep and Highland Cattle.
