The latter makes a decent destination for non-anglers as well, with walks, cycle trails and birdwatching, plus waterskiing and jetskiing on the lakes.

As Airstreamers our aim was to create a Glamping Ground for people who are as passionate as us about Glamping.. 

We named our Airstream Ettie after my Grandma, when we bought Ettie we put her in the field and called it "Ettie's Field" so when we were thinking of a name and we went through a few!! It dawned on us that we had already named it!! Ettie's Field!!!

Ettie's Field is NOT a caravan park or a campsite....​
Ettie's Field is for everyone who owns an interesting Glamping rig.​

We welcome children at Ettie's Field but we have not designed the site around children, we do not have a playground or allow any type of ball, frisbee games or kite flying on Ettie's Field, if those are a must maybe Ettie's Field isn't suitable.

The 3 stations in the Battlefield Line Railway are Shenton (a prize winner), marketplace Bosworth and Shackerston, the latter of that will be the HQ station where you'll find the loco shed and primary stock that is rolling their Victorian Tea area and Souvenir Shop. There's disabled access throughout all 3 stations and loos at Shenton and Shackerton.It must be noted on approach that the signs for Battlefield Visitor Centre don't just take you to the place, instead to an attraction some quarter-hour' disappear (which can be also worth a look around if you've plenty of time). The walk is definately not a distressing one and you may stroll alongside Ashby Canal too, but then there clearly was parking at all the stations too.Trains operate on weekends between March and November plus on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday during July and August, just Wednesdays in September and through the entire half term days in October if you like not to.

Standout features include high and racing that is slick and the awesome sky glide: dare you take action? Dare you lose out?! there is a different smaller play area adjacent for the Under 5s which include smaller, age appropriate challenges and tiny variations associated with fun that is big and several unique material just for them, like a bouncy castle and trip on trikes. Even the underneath audience that is 1s well covered with their own area with bouncers along with other customized entertainment for small folk to get to grips with. Parent and toddler sessions can be found every weekday, too! Occasions held here in the past have actually included Child Minder Discount times, Unlimited Enjoy offers and FREE after school dinners, therefore it is well worth keeping an optical eye open and find out what theyare going to get up to next!
