Whitegate Farm Campsite & Fishing

Whitegate Farm is owned by the Swift family and is a working farm with a Campsite & fishing pool.

It is situated next to the main A5 road near to Weston Park Staffordshire. Within easy access to the M6 motorway, only a ten minute drive form Junction 12 M6 and close to junction 3 M54.

It makes it an ideal location for an overnight stop.

You may have visited many times before unfortunately since COVID-19 we have had to make quite a few changes to ensure the safety of our campers come first and our safety too.

So a temporary measure that we have to put in place is closing the facilities as follows, include no electric showers, no flushable toilets, these are high risk area, which you will no longer be able to use.

The electric hook up pitches hard standing and grass pitches for motorhomes, caravans, unfortunately we are not taking tents as we do not have the facilities to accommodate them.

Whitegate Farm is a small and family run 5CL camping & Caravanning club members only campsite, on a working farm. Perfect for overnight stays.

We are a basic site situated on the main A5 road one of the nearest campsites to Weston Park. Ideal for an overnight stay close to M6 J12.

The electric hook up pitches hard standing for motorhomes, caravans, unfortunately we are not taking tents as we do not have the facilities to accommodate them. Only self contained units, caravans and motorhomes should book as no toilets, showers. We d have a temporary chemical disposal point.

There are plenty of nice walks, why not take a stroll up the lane to our very beautiful fishing pool and day tickets are available for fishing. They can be booked at time of booking your pitch.

Please note dogs are allowed on site however they must be kept under control & on lead, as a working farm. Max 2 dogs per booking. Please note there is no longer a farm shop on site.

Tucked away at the back of Whitegate farm is a beautiful Fishing Pool, a great place to take a stroll from the campsite and enjoy the beautiful views of the Staffordshire countryside. If you enjoy fishing then this is perfect for you, fishing day tickets are available to buy, when you book online and it is a great place to relax and fish.

There are no toilets, showers on site at present. You will need a car to get out and about, from this site.

Nearby Attractions

Whitegate Farm is located within easy reach of many visitor attractions including Weston Park, Cannock Chase, Ironbridge and Shugborough yet in the countryside setting on a working farm. There is an Indian restaurant half a mile from the campsite, who will deliver takeways to the site. Also within one mile, a petrol station, shop and a pub which serves food 'Bradford Arms'. We are near to the village of Penkridge, only a short drive away.
