Each generous tent pitch on our site overlooks the River Worfe and includes a fire pit and all of the wood you will need to make those memories that will last for years to come.
We want to provide a premium experience so in addition to a fire pit, we have equipped each pitch with an en suite a warm shower, eco-toilet, picnic table and awning.

Completed in 2018, the Shepherds Hut offers all modern conveniences such as electricity, hot/cold running water, Kitchen area, en suite shower room, free WiFi, TV and electric wood burning stove.

Sleeping two people, the Shepherds Hut is set in an idyllic location over looking fields, woodland and water and the private decked area with table and chairs offers the perfect spot to relax and enjoy the view and the wildlife.

We are situated between Bridgnorth and Ironbridge, off the B4373, five minutes by car from Bridgnorth.

We are rurally situated and there is only one Shepherds Hut on site, check in is contact-less, all facilities (kitchen & shower room) are inside the hut &                                                                                                     there is a private, fenced, outside space.

The hut is thoroughly cleaned & aired between guests and there is the option to bring your own towels and bedding.

We have been accredited through VisitEngland that 'We're Good To Go' and AA 'Covid Confident' to ensure that we are following industry COVID-19 guidelines to maintain cleanliness and social distancing.

Unfortunately **we are not able to accept Dogs as we have livestock in the fields** around the Shepherds Hut.

Shepherds Hut

Just outside the gorgeous **Shropshire Hills**, in between **Bridgnorth** and **Ironbridge**, is the lovely **Hay and Hedgerow Glamping**; an exclusive bolthole for two, situated in a beautiful spot on a working sheep farm.  This bespoke **Shepherd's Hut** is the perfect place to get away from it all, relax, recharge and rejuvenate in idyllic surroundings overlooking fields, woodland and water.  

Newly finished in 2018, the Shepherds Hut is no ordinary camping experience.  It’s a real treat. The hut sleeps two very comfortably indeed in a luxury brass bed, and offers all modern conveniences including mains electricity, hot and cold running water, a kitchen area (with fridge, hob, kettle, toaster microwave and a Belfast sink), ensuite shower and toilet, sofa, TV and a wood burning stove to keep warm on the colder evenings.  The private decking outside has a table and chairs and is the perfect spot for al fresco dining or just sitting and admiring the view.  The kitchen is very well equipped with pots and pans, crockery and cutlery, so all you need to bring is as much food as you want to cook, and possibly a torch to see your way back home after dark; there is not much light pollution here and **stunning starry skies** are a regular feature.  

Nearby, there is lots to do and places to explore.  The Shropshire Hills - an **Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty** - is a great place for hiking, biking and wildlife spotting, with a landscape of hills, moorland and pretty waterfalls.  There are also lovely walks along the **River Severn** and several watersports activities going on if you fancy a spot of canoeing or sailing.  For a more serious hike, **The Wrekin** - one of Shropshires most famous hills - is a steady climb up through the woodlands of Forest Glen to the **Iron Age hillfort** at the summit, with stunning views across the landscape including the iconic Needle’s Eye.
The market towns of Bridgnorth and Much Wenlock are good places to visit for some shopping, and **Ironbridge** - a **UNESCO World Heritage** site - is just ten minutes away in the car and has lots to see and do including the fantastic **Blists Hill Victorian** town.  Here you can take a step back in time a hundred years and visit authentic shops, buy goods from an era gone by and watch the locals working in their workshops and factories.  Or hop aboard the **Severn Valley railway** - a heritage steam train which will take you sixteen miles along the delightful Severn Valley, past Kidderminster, Bewdley and Bridgnorth.  There is also a brilliant locomotive museum at the indoor visitor centre at Highley, an absolute must for train enthusiasts with interactive exhibits, full-size steam locomotives and a play area.

Frankly, if you wanted to stay right by your Shepherds Hut at Hay and Hedgerow and go nowhere then no one would blame you, it is blissful.  One happy glamper called it a “beautiful sanctuary” and that’s a great way to describe this lovely spot.  There are many footpaths and walks around the farm, so you can discover the area right on your doorstep, and the very helpful owners are happy to guide you in the right direction and share all the local sights.  A wonderful place for an outdoor break. 





Hay and Hedgerow Glamping

The glamping units come equipped with bedding, towels and a camping stove so you can keep the car boot space free for souvenirs (or beer and/or champers: a fridge and freezer is on site for guests' use). They don't have electricity, but all are atmospherically lit by the use of fairy lights and lanterns, and electric points are available along with the fridge and freezer in the site's luxury shower block.

Rural holiday with a touch of luxury is what you will find at Glamping West Midlands – and all without pitching a tent or loading up the car with piles of kit. No bumpy ground or sleeping on slopes here, just swish, toasty and fully-equipped accommodation with beds, crisp linen, firepits and outdoor furniture from which to watch the stars.

Set near Enville in the Staffordshire countryside, Glamping West Midlands is a smallholding that's home to llamas, horses, ponies, sheep, chickens and other friendly critters. Walks over meadow, heathland and farmland as well as past pools and lakes are all around; this is a walkers' paradise, so bring your comfy boots and your irons: a golf club is right next door.

The glamping units come equipped with bedding, towels and a camping stove so you can keep the car boot space free for souvenirs (or beer and/or champers: a fridge and freezer is on site for guests' use). They don't have electricity, but all are atmospherically lit by the use of fairy lights and lanterns, and electric points are available along with the fridge and freezer in the site's luxury shower block.

There are 2 wood burning hot tubs to share between the 4 units so will have the use of a hot tub at least one night of your stay, maybe more.

If you like dogs, Alfie is the bed warmer of choice! He adores children and is difficult to get rid of. If you love to play ball then Dudley is for you. He doesn't give up. Guests have brought him back home after 4 hours as they are exhausted. All of the lovely animals are really friendly except Covid, who is a monster! He is a hand reared goose who thinks he is human. Don't worry. He is kept safely away from guests.

We're pet friendly and accommodating to your needs and any request will be fulfilled where possible.

Royal Air Force Museum Cosford is recognized as one of many destinations being leading the Midlands, with over 70 aircraft on display. It is available daily throughout the year, and it is free to visit.The National Cold War Exhibition includes aircraft, army transport, missiles, memorabilia, interactive kiosks and hotspots of data. This unique exhibition reflects the social, cultural and political history of the Cold War era in a fun and way that is revolutionary. A significant feature of this exhibition that is exclusive Britain's three post war V-Bombers; the Vulcan, Victor and Valiant. Site visitors are able to see many aircraft from an elevated viewing gallery.As well because the 70 aircraft on display at Cosford, including the world's spitfire that is earliest, the RAF Museum Cosford hosts lots of smaller unique exhibitions like the fortunate Mascots event and also the RAF Boy Entrants permanent exhibition.RAF Museum Cosford is one day that everyone from small kids upwards will love long lasting climate. Kiddies and adults alike are going to be fascinated with 'Fun 'n' Flight' Interactive Gallery that is designed to excite and notify young (and old!) minds. Packed with hands-on excitement, it is the method that is simple response all those questions about how aircraft stay up within the air. The gallery is run by a united team of volunteers and it is available on weekdays from 10am to 4pm, and weekends 11am to 4pm.

Pigg's Playbarn is a place that is exciting come for adventure, exploration and excitement. An indoor and play that is outside ideal for children, toddlers and young children. With comfortable sofas, delicious coffee, handmade cakes and a yummy meal menu, it generates for the best chance for moms and dads to relax too!   Events and Clubs  throughout the we now have exciting activities such as our Pumpkin Festival in October, and provide after school groups such as cooking and craft themes year. At the holidays are we've our Santa's Grotto and Breakfast with Santa which can be a experience that is magical your kids to savor.

Choose a paint and color away! Paint and Create is for artists of all of the ages and abilities to get a little messy. Tucked away alongside the Apley Farm Shop is an attractive, bright studio room where you are able to paint your pottery, mini canvases, clay - record continues! The team of staff are often available to get every relation's hands dirty with a range that is huge of, tools and tints. They desire everybody else to feel prompted to use one thing new however, if you are not totally confident yet, keep things simple aided by the stencils provided.There are over 100 different items of pottery to select from therefore may it be dinosaurs, flowers or a plate that is straightforward here'll be one thing to tickle your fancy. You can also indulge in organised activities like throwing a pot on Potter's Wheel times if you love the method.

There are additionally offer a few special bits and bobs during open play sessions: on Mondays there was a totally free Character Meet and Greet from 4pm to 6pm where pirates or princesses will pop in for a photo that is great!Then on Thursdays from 10:30am to 11:30am there was imaginative play or story time with one of the friendly downline, plus on Fridays there are Boogie Babies music and motion sessions too!
