Rhossili Bay Beach Three miles of golden sand access via a path that is steep through the clifftop. The beach is quieter than one could expect for a setting therefore stunning. At the southern end there's the mile long tidal island of Worm's Head which rises from the waters like a square headed beast that is mythical. You are able to walk to it to begin to see the seabirds (and perhaps a grey seal!) during two hours either relative side of low tide without getting the legs wet but make sure to be straight back before it comes back. Surfing is popular by the end that is northern the biggest rollers are available in, and swimming is okay but there is no lifeguard cover therefore stay fairly close to land. Immediate facilities consist of toilets with disabled facilities, a shop, cafe and pub and so are all towards the top of a access course that is steep.
