Nestled within the beautiful Tamar Valley, we are in the perfect location for exploring the wonders of both Devon and Cornwall. We are extremely proud to offer comfort, surrounded by natural adventure, with our beautifully furnished bell tents and Touareg tents tucked amongst the trees. Co-existing with nature adds to the enchantment of The Copper Pot Campsite, where you can watch deer, foxes, owls and bats explore freely. With water sourced from our own bore and not the usual taps you are used to at home, it helps to create a totally unique experience which makes for a fantastic family adventure or that perfect romantic getaway. Electricity free, the camp fires, stoves and solar lighting conjure up a very magical atmosphere indeed. We understand the importance of sustainable tourism and we are committed to reducing our environmental impact wherever possible. Biodegradable products for the showers and washing up facilities will be provided and our toilets are fully compostable. This is a picturesque, eco glamping, low impact site, which is set in a tranquil and secluded area of outstanding natural beauty. We encourage our customers to leave their cars at home, offering to arrange transportation from the local railway station. We can arrange cycle hire on your behalf and we are within walking distance of the wonderful Cotehele National Trust Tudor house and close to the Tamar Trails Activity Centre. We are also only twenty minutes away from Drakes Trail, a dedicated paved cycle track from Tavistock to Plymouth. The Copper Pot is very much a dog friendly site. We do not charge for dogs, however we do ask that guests keep their best friends on a lead at all times, as we have free range chickens and an incredibly tame pheasant on site. All you need to do on arrival, is unpack your suitcase and enjoy the great outdoors.
