About This Activity

Through the hill that is highest in Britain (Ben Nevis) to Britain's most westerly station (Arisaig) you'll be treated to an abundance of incredible places on board the Jacobite Steam Train.

On your journey, you are going to pass though Britain's deepest freshwater loch (Loch Morar) as well as the shortest river in the U, river Morar). You also pass through Loch Nevis, Fort William and end up in the fishing port, Mallaig.

The whole journey is 1.5 hours long.

Your kids will particularly enjoy crossing the 21 arches associated with the Glenfinnan viaduct, which most young ones, and grownups too, will recognise from the now infamous route to Hogwarts from the Harry Potter films!
