Real comfortable beds with fresh linen and towels and a wood burning stove to keep cosy in the evenings. There's plenty of space for each tent, outdoor seating and firepit (tripod, steel plate, pot with lid and kettle) with simple cooking equipment including cutlery, crockery, colander, tin opener, bottle opener, fish slice, tongs etc. Its all off-grid so there’s no fridge; best to bring a cool box.
Facilities for both grass pitches and bell tents include hot showers, luxury compost loos and washing up hut. We are off-grid here, a few solar lights lead the way but this is a chance to disconnect from the buzz of life. Please note its a 30 minute walk or short drive to the shepherds hut & hot tub field.

We’ll present you with a beautifully selected breakfast hamper including our hens eggs, locally sourced bacon, homemade beans, crumpets  and juice.

Breakfast Hamper

Nothing beats cooking over open fire. We supply a hamper with all you need to create a 3 course meal to remember. Inspired by the Argentine asado style cooking. Just build the fire and follow the instructions - its a leisurely cook so set aside 3 hours. Choose from steak, chicken or vegetarian

Dinner Hamper

The quintessential English cream tea, served in vintage crockery.  Four homemade Scones and jam with clotted cream. A pot of tea, coffee or homemade lemonade. If cake is preferred to scones then let me know

Lunch Hamper

We’ll present you with a beautifully selected breakfast hamper including our hens eggs, locally sourced bacon, homemade beans, crumpets  and juice. If you want to take it up a notch (£25) add local chipolatas, homemade granola & yoghurt, jam and farm honey and seasonal goodies from the garden when available.

Grass Pitch

Simple, luxe hut with king-sized bed, fine linens, towels, ensuite shower & compost loo, wood burning stove, kitchenette with gas hob and small fridge. Outside is set up to encourage guests to connect with nature, relax in the wood-fired hot tub, kick back in the deckchairs and cook over the firepit. We love cooking over fire and provide each hut with tripod, cast iron fire-cooking equipment. Firepit meal hampers can be added to your stay. We provide two crates of wood for each stay and there's a woodshed with an honesty box to restock. There is parking for each hut by the entrance and guests wheelbarrow their belongings to the huts.

The T Barn

The site is spacious - around four acres for just ten pitches - and comprises pasture edged by woodland. We welcome tents, campervans and caravans and are happy for you to make a campfire (you will find stone ‘grates’ around the site).

Pitch occupation is limited to 5 people, one vehicle and one large tent (awnings and small ancillary tents not included).

Please book additional pitches if your party exceeds any of these maximums.

We have lots of space so allow you to choose your spot - we’re sure you’ll find somewhere just right.

The bus is surrounded by private fields and woodland and you are welcome to have a campfire under the stars. Well-behaved dogs are welcome too!

Phoebus sleeps 6 comfortably. There is a Super King sized double bed, 2 bunk beds and 2 single sofa beds which convert into another Super King size bed. The bus is fitted with a 4-hob induction cooker, a full size oven and a large fridge so you can easily cater for all guests. The larger dining table has space for 6 comfortably. There is also a toaster, kettle and a sink, plenty of storage and a water filter.

Please add your cleaning fee extra at the end of your order.

In the back half of Phoebus you will first find the bathroom on the left, with a flushing toilet and washbasin, and then the shower cubicle complete with pressurised hot water. On the right are two single bunk beds, each with privacy curtains, reading lights and USB chargers.

Phoebus is fed by mains water and there is also a filtration unit. Heating is provided by two hot air fans at either end of the bus, controlled by timers. Phoebus is fully insulated and will feel warm and cosy even when it is cold outside. The double bed is fitted with an electric blanket and hot water bottles are also provided
All the power on Phoebus is generated by 8 solar panels fixed to the roof. There are both 3-pin plugs and USB chargers throughout the bus.

Just a couple mins drive from Swindon lays Stanton Park, a lovely nature that is regional and 74 hectare country park.The substantial woodland and big pond are ideal for exploring on the number of footpaths and walks. Put down for the afternoon with your picnic to help make the the majority of this space that is wide-open changes because of the season. Longer walks are perfect methods to blow away the cobwebs and present your kids a dose of fresh-air and exercise that will lead them straight to the hands of a sleep that is sound on in the evening!
