Inside, the church is light and spacious. There is a 500-year-old timber door that still swings on its ancient hinges – even though it now leads to a blocked north doorway! Another quirky feature is the nineteenth-century vestry – its walls are lined from top to bottom with thousands of cockle shells – the emblem of St James. The monuments in the church walls and floor are a fascinating record of those who once lived here.

 We hope we've thought of everything you'll need for a relaxing and refreshing short break and have provided everything we think is an essential plus some luxuries and also a range of extras that you might want.

Everything we do is designed to have as small an impact on the local environment as possible and we’ll try and encourage our visitors to share this ethos and leave only footprints and take only memories.

Outside you've all your own private 'glamping' facilities, from the compost loo and shower room to the safari kitchen as well as a barbeque and a firepit.

**What's Included**

 Just bring yourself as we're providing all your bedding and towels, plus all the necessities for your stay. This includes your crockery and cutlery, plenty of free firewood for the fire pit. The safari kitchen has a two ring gas hob, a cool box to keep your food in as well as essential salt, pepper and oil - and of course a bottle opener!

We've also put some games, books and a pack of cards in the Living Van in case you get bored of idling by the river.

Whilst this is camping - we want it to be the most relaxing camping you'll ever experience.

Torches and wellies recommended.

Explore Jeskyns Community Woodlands on foot, cycle or on horseback, and travel across nearly 16km of trails. The kids could have plenty of natural play features to keep them busy on the way. Wish to make it exactly about the ones that are little? Take the A Shaun the Sheep Movie: Farmageddon Glow Trail* and turn your walk into a adventure that is real! Did you know there's an elf and town that is fairy Jeskyns? Right by the gate in the Sand Pit Play Area, you will find beautiful tiny fairytale homes, including Acorn Apartments, Mushroom Manor and The Old Boot Inn. You may also snap an image with Mouse, Fox, Owl and Snake through the Gruffalo in the event that you wonder across the right spots in the forest. Is it possible to find all the sculptures that are wood one day out? Got your dog? Jeskyns Community Woodlands has your pet dog task path, so that the four-legged users of one's family may have loads of enjoyable too!
