Island Speedway

Smallbrook Stadium is the place to be on a night between April and October tuesday. An action stuffed night of exciting Island Speedway bike racing. 2 teams of 7 riders each race over 15 heats/races across the Smallbrook Stadium (that is the biggest circuit in the UK).Speedway bikes do not have brake system, only one gear, a clutch and 500cc engines which run using methanol fuel and can speed up to 60 mph, faster than a Formula 1 car!The best thing is that all this happens just yards from where you're standing therefore the stars for the show (the cyclists) can be available to see and fulfill, so remember your cameras, autograph books and pens!There is free parking at the front end for the arena (and an overflow car park behind the stadium).For simply you of an excellent evening of action packed enjoyable £2 you can buy a souvenir programme to remind!
