About This Activity

The South Downs Planetarium Science Centre provides a 100 seat celebrity Theatre, with planetarium projector and dome that is 10m. Young ones can experience convincing celestial occasions with fascinating commentary, without the usual stargazing frustrations of unexpected cloud address and pollution that is light. See eclipses, comets, meter showers, shooting stars and much more.Shows regularly held include: Hubble's Glorious Universe; The look for Earth-like Planets; Magnificent Moons; Summer Skies; Meteorites, Space Rocks and Impacts; The north Lights and Tour of The Planets.This can also be a centre for associated sciences whose extra educational facilities include Public Library, Workshop and Information Technology Centre.
