As Airstreamers our aim was to create a Glamping Ground for people who are as passionate as us about Glamping.. 

We named our Airstream Ettie after my Grandma, when we bought Ettie we put her in the field and called it "Ettie's Field" so when we were thinking of a name and we went through a few!! It dawned on us that we had already named it!! Ettie's Field!!!

We welcome children at Ettie's Field but we have not designed the site around children, we do not have a playground or allow any type of ball, frisbee games or kite flying on Ettie's Field, if those are a must maybe Ettie's Field isn't suitable.

The pitches are located in a small site with a fishing lake next to an 18th-century coaching inn within a half-hour drive of Drayton Manor, Snowdome, and Twycross Zoo.
A 40 minute drive from Birmingham's Cadbury World and Science Museum. From forest walks and wildlife encounters to winter sports, fishing and waterskiing, get cracking right on site, as this small Leicestershire park for touring vehicles has its own fishing pond, bookable in advance. Next door, the coaching inn has been welcoming thirsty and hungry travellers for four centuries, with nearby real ales, bar snacks and restaurant meals, regular Chinese and Indian carvery nights and a beer garden with a kids’ play area.

For true fishing aficionados, there are further carp to be caught a five-minute drive away at Tucker’s Holt, and at Kingsbury Waterpark (half an hour). The latter makes a decent destination for non-anglers as well, with walks, cycle trails and birdwatching, plus waterskiing and jetskiing on the lakes.

Following the path through the tall grasses and flowers that, during the summer months, grow wild in the meadow field, you will come to the first of our two luxury safari tents, Tuckey’s Safari Tent.

From your front porch, explore the footpaths, bridleways and towpaths that are rural England.
Switch off and unwind in our luxury safari tents located in their very own meadow on our 350 acre farm. Each safari tent is fully equipped with everything you would need to relax and leave behind the daily treadmill of life.

Woodhill Safari Tent

Meadow Field Glamping is located just outside the village of Harborough Magna near Rugby, in the beautiful county of Warwickshire.  The very welcoming owners have created an absolute oasis here; a small but perfectly formed glamping site, set in glorious wildflower meadows, consisting of two boutique safari tents - Tuckey’s and Woodhill - each which sleep 6 people very comfortably indeed.  

It is a gorgeous place to stay, nestled amongst 350 acres of working arable farm, with a blossoming heritage orchard of pear, plum and apple trees to the rear of the tents. But Meadow Field is way more than just a place to bed down for the night.  The safari tents themselves are hugely spacious, each with a king bedroom, a twin and a snug double cabin bed festooned with fairy lights.  There is a large living area with a dining table and chairs, a traditional chesterfield sofa and a cosy wood burning stove.  Every detail is well thought out; tasteful but unfussy.  The owners have furnished the tents beautifully, with throws, cushions, crisp linens and warm blankets; the kitchen is well equipped with modern conveniences and the cupboards are packed with cards and board games for any wet days or chilly evenings.  Your private bathroom is luxurious, with the star of the show being the shower/moon landing pod; complete with power jets, lights and bluetooth technology, should you want to belt out any power ballads.

The area itself is packed with things to do and it is a great location to tour around Warwickshire and nearby counties.  Coombe Abbey Park (home to Go Ape if you fancy a swing through the trees), Kenilworth Castle, Leamington Spa and the extraordinary Warwick Castle are all within a 35 minute car journey.  A little further afield, visit the picture postcard villages of the Cotswolds or the medieval market town of Stratford upon Avon.  As the birthplace of William Shakespeare you can visit the timber clad Tudor house where he was born, see where he spent his formative schooldays and go to his final resting place at Holy Trinity Church.  From Stratford you can also take a cruise down the River Avon and see the Warwickshire countryside from the water.

After a busy day, your safari tent at Meadow Field will be a welcome retreat.  Each has its own private decking area, the perfect place to watch the sunset and enjoy the great outdoors.  It is a place to come with family or friends to switch off, relax and reconnect, walk in the countryside, light a fire pit, cook a BBQ or pizza, watch the sun go down and do some stargazing.  “Magical” is a word frequently used to describe a stay at Meadow Field and the owners go above and beyond to add in all sorts of extras that will make your holiday very special.  A real treat.

Cancellation Policy: Our standard terms are a non refundable 30% deposit due at point of booking unless booking is made within 8 weeks (56 days) of arrival in which case the full amount is required.
If full payment has been made and they cancel more than 56 days before arrival then they will get a refund less the 30% deposit figure.
If they cancel within the 8 weeks before arrival no refund is due. We will of course work with the guest and explore alternative dates with them

There's also a visitor centre with facilities and information about the area.The website recently received the Forestry Authority's 'centre of excellence' prize and so it's also a pleasant spot that is scenic get Geocaching! That is where you utilize GPS on your own phone to find concealed treasures - therefore be sure to take some little notes and treasures of your personal to swap out with and familiarise yourself with how to use the telephone programme. It's good fun also it keeps the children pleased and mentally stimulated whilst getting the exercise you've actually taken them out you creep out at night together and set friendly moth traps then meet back the early morning for friends brekkie also to see what kinds you've caught within the evening for! in addition they provide outstanding array of regular tasks to participate in with, ranging from hedgerow harvest walks and woodland festivals to your cool Moth evening and Moth Breakfast sessions, where!
