Cefn Coed is a historical Welsh farm property with origins dating back to the 17th Century. It is situated 4 miles from the picturesque market town of Dolgellau, in the heart of Snowdonia National Park, enjoying an idyllic setting in a sheltered valley of Ancient Oak Woodland where the magnificent Cader Idris rolls down into the Mawddach Estuary. 

Surrounded by it's own 75 acres of farmland and forests, Cefn Coed provides a rare degree of freedom and escape from the fast pace of modern society. Ideally located for exploring Snowdonia, miles of walking, cycling and riding paths are easily accessible, including the famous Mawddach Trail, allowing you to reconnect with nature and enjoy the sense of tranquility that comes with it.

The Bunkhouse was the original bakehouse and dairy of the farm and has now been converted to provide comfortable self-catering holiday accommodation with a rustic charm.

Sleeps 12 people in 4 separate bedrooms with bunkbeds. Downstairs is an open plan kitchen/lounge area with a lovely big wood burner to keep you toasty. Upstairs are the beds along with the shower & toilet.

An ideal base for large families, group of friends, club meets, team building workshops or school groups.

Cedris farm campsite  & holiday cottage is situated on a small quiet, rural, working farm between Abergynolwyn and Tal-y-llyn an ideal place to explore & discover this amazing part of Wales. The stunning Cardigan Bay is only a 10 min drive away also the mountains of south Snowdonia, Tal y Llyn Lake and Cader Idris.

Each of our huts comes complete with all the mod cons, but Joan has the added advantage of being dog-friendly too, so plenty of room for you and your four-legged friend.

Tan Aeldroch is a 42 acre Welsh sheep farm.  Now run as a Nature Reserve, the current owners have been working to restore the natural ecology of the valley since 2003.   Tan Aeldroch has been a well established campsite since 1951 and many people return year after year to enjoy its unique setting. ​Nestled in the stunning Lledr valley, Camp Snowdonia offers a true back-to-nature camping experience.  The site is beautiful and peaceful,  and comprises two flat fields - bordered on one side by the mighty Lledr River.  It's a quiet haven - about as close to 'wild' camping as you can get on a site. No music allowed, quiet site.

 Tan Aeldroch Farm

A campsite / car park next to a lake and river with some beautiful walks in the mountains such as the Roman steps. There are no toilet facilities
