An impressively large church with a stonking great tower on top of a very steep hill, All Saints looks down over the pretty Somerset village of Langport. Built mainly in the fifteenth and sixteenth centuries, it overlooks the remains of a Benedictine abbey. The church’s bold, pinnacled west tower, covered with gargoyles known locally as ‘Hunky Punks’, is a local landmark. However, its most special treasure is its east window, containing the largest collection of medieval stained glass in Somerset. The saints are shown in gloriously coloured robes with both animated and serene expressions.

Our campsite offers guests a tranquil space with its open grass area surrounded by the orchard. The pitches have been designed to accommodate caravans, motorhomes, campervans and tents. The tree’s positions naturally mark out our pitches and can provide welcome shade in the summer. Options for both grass and hardstanding pitches are available, all with EHU and clean facilities.

We have ladies and men’s toilets and a coin operated shower. There is a washing up area, recycling bins, chemical waste facility and Rural Wi-Fi available on site. Dogs are welcome, but obviously we ask they are kept on leads and owners clean up after them. You are welcome to bring a BBQ providing it is kept 18 inches off the grass.

These three Luxury Glamping pods are hand built to our own layout and design. They are larger than normal and fitted with a full en-suit with shower, a kitchenette with Belfast sink, two ring hob, fridge, kettle, coffee maker and toaster.

A comfortable full-size double bed ensures a good night sleep while the bed settee easily pulls out to sleep 2 young children up to 12 years. Inside there is a table and chairs, TV, rural Wi-Fi and underfloor heating.

Outside, each pod has a good size private decking area, ambient lighting, Rattan Dinning set and a BBQ to enjoy alfresco dining.

Set on the edge of the pretty village of Butleigh and surrounded by stunning countryside is our hideaway luxury glamping and campsite - Orchard Farm Campsite. 

Our charming site manages to feel both intimate and spacious. In a private section at the centre of our six-acre Orchard are four Luxury Glamping Pods. While in another nearly flat section with a toilet and shower block, is an area allocated for up to 10 Caravans, Motorhomes and Campervans.

There are so many things to do in the immediate area, from the attractions and sights in Glastonbury to beautiful country walks and bike rides all starting from the campsite. Alternatively, make the most of the peaceful surroundings to just relax with a good book, be with family and friends while enjoying a cold cider from the orchard.

Well behaved dogs are welcome in the campsite area.

Banbury Meadow is managed organically as a private nature reserve with Somerset Wildlife Trust certification and carefully presented as a tranquil glamping retreat, we are situated on the fringe of the historic village of Butleigh, less than a 10-minute drive from the famous town of Glastonbury, overlooking Glastonbury Tor and within the ancient Vale of Avalon. 
We are a small glamping retreat that will especially appeal to people with an interest in treading lightly on the earth and reconnecting with nature and just being able to unplug and relax.

We have two 6m yurts available for private rental, either as separate bookings or we are able to offer exclusive rental of the entire site for up to eight guests at a time

Idyllic positions overlooking the confluence of the rivers Cripps and Brue. There are 6 hard standing pitches which are all fully serviced. 4 along the riverside and 2  just behind the riverside pitches. Probably some of the best riverside pitches for caravanning in Somerset.
Once you become a regular at Cripps Farm you will receive a 10% discount on every booking made on the touring site.
Minimum of two nights to be booked and Three-nights on a bank holiday weekend.
Occupancy shall be from 12 pm on the day of arrival to 11 am on the day of departure unless agreed otherwise.
Extra charges- Fishing lakes £5 a day or £3 for half a day, showers at 50p via the meter, Wi-fi and laundry facilities.
Store and stay – no more towing, let us site your caravan on your chosen pitch ready for your arrival and place your caravan back into storage, once your holiday has ended.

Dogs
Quiet dogs are welcome accompanied by responsible owners by prior agreement. You must ensure that the dog(s) are always kept on a lead. All fouling must be collected and disposed of using the bags and bins provided. Don’t leave your dogs’ alone in the caravans for long periods of time.  All fouling is to be cleared up before departure.

Hidden away in a peaceful corner of the lovely county of Somerset, on the banks of a river and in beautifully landscaped grounds, you will be very warmly welcomed at Cripps Farm Holidays.  Set across acres of rolling farmland near Bason Bridge, Cripps Farm is just a few miles from the seaside town of Burnham-on-Sea and the many coastal attractions nearby.  Guests staying at the campsite will be treated to glorious views across Somerset to the Mendips, Glastonbury Tor and the Quantock hills.  

Cripps Farm Holidays have lots of accommodation options and something for everyone.  There are 29 seasonal pitches, fully serviced and with either a riverside or countryside view - both stunning - which make for a rather special permanent holiday retreat for those who manage to bag one.  Not to worry if you don’t, there are also six good sized touring pitches, fully serviced and boasting possibly some of the loveliest riverside spots in Somerset.  In addition to this, they have 4 self catering cottages to book as well, all within the same carefully looked after and landscaped grounds, with pristine flowers beds and well-mown fields.

There are a number of peaceful walks around the campsite’s surrounding fields, including a long enclosed walk where your dog can have a good run around.  There is a well maintained toilet and shower block with underfloor heating and laundry facilities.  For those who like angling, the stars of the show are two rather lovely fishing lakes which are very well stocked with Rudd, Roach, Perch, Bream, Chub, Tench and Carp.  Fishing on the River Cripps and River Bure is also available.  And if you have canoes, explore the river from the water and enjoy the abundance of wildlife; look out for kingfishers, buzzards, otters and wild deer among other things.  Along with the wild animals to spot, there are also lots of farm animals for the kids to meet here, including cows, pigs and lambs in the spring.

There is so much to explore and enjoy in the local area, from Victorian seaside towns, medieval villages, stunning beaches, miles of rural countryside full of wildlife and nature trails, the gorges and caves of the Mendips and the lovely cities of Wells and Bath.  The location of Cripps Farm is incredible for exploring all of Somerset’s gems, but relaxing at the campsite might just be all the holiday you need, it really is a lovely spot.  Especially with the news that this year sees the opening of Cripps River Spa, a little haven of tranquility right on the campsite, offering a sauna, hot tub (with stunning views across the countryside of course), a treatment room and all round blissful relaxation.  It doesn’t get much better than that.  With walking, cycling, fishing all on your doorstep, Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty and bustling towns and pretty villages to explore, this Somerset campsite makes for a great holiday destination.


Cripps Farm Holidays

Our three lotus belle tents are positioned in a beautiful quiet paddock with stunning surrounding countryside views.

The large canvas tents are very sturdy and suitable for use in all weather conditions. Great for families or small groups, each tent sleeps up to four adults on comfortable single futons.

Designed for people looking to get away from it all, there is no electricity supply in the tents.

However, toilet and shower facilities are just a short walk away along with a communal kitchen/dining area.

Unfortunately dogs are not permitted in this accommodation.

LOTUS BELLE TENTS 

In a peaceful private spot on the edge of the vineyard, our two Shepherd’s Hut’s are ideal for couples looking for a romantic getaway.

Each beautiful hut has a Scandinavian Wood Fired Hot Tub to provide you both with the perfect environment to relax and unwind together in the most beautiful surroundings.

The huts on their original iron chassis, are made of wood with old fashioned wheels and steps leading up to a double stable door entrance. The doors and windows allow plenty of sunlight to stream in or allow you to watch the sun set over the vineyard from the comfort of your double bed if you wish! Inside there is also a kettle, toaster, fridge and a traditional wood burning stove in shepherds hut 


Shared toilet facilities, this accommodation is the ultimate luxurious glamping experience for couples. Each hut sleeps two adults. Both are only a short walk from kitchen and dining facilities.

Five windows and a large full screen glazed door panel ensure ample natural light to provide a beautiful living environment offering plenty of opportunity to enjoy the views.

**What do we need to bring?”**

Wells Leisure Centre boasts a swimming that is 25m but also a passionate family members interactive pool with a lot of enjoyment little water play features to add to the experience for the small ones. If you wish to build their abilities up as well as have them their enjoyable and exercise you will find swimming classes available right here too.There is a recreations centre on site with fitness suite and recreations courts, plus regular activities held during school holiday breaks for young ones over around 5, in addition to a workout programme for 12 to 15 yr old too. Work off that Xbox butt!

Wells Leisure Centre

Greenbank Heated exterior Pool Offering a huge x that is 30m main pool plus a shallow, semi-circular kids' pool, but additionally an awesome splash park play area with interactive features like water jets and spray fountains. Loads to complete to cool off for all ages!Whether you are getting some proper exercise, developing your shots or perhaps going mental within the fun bits, it's a lovely spot for a family group day trip so long as you've got at least a modicum of sunlight to opt for you!Greenbank's Oasis cafe normally readily available to provide refreshments throughout with available green area to take pleasure from the treats in and play conventional household games along with it!Guests with disabilities are well looked after with disabled changing room and non-sling chair hoist, plus special flotation products for help will also be permitted while normal inflatables are not.It's well-worth noting there are no lockable lockers, so never just take the Ming vase.
