You’ll be all set for a royally relaxing stay at Camping at the Manor in the New Forest National Park. Here, you’ll be dwelling in the grounds of an Edwardian country manor house where there are often wild deer to be seen roaming the grounds and occasionally the mad owner on his lawnmower ensuring that the pitches stay nicely trimmed.

You’ll have plenty of space to make into your little hidey-hole, as the pitches are spread between three large fields, surrounded by mature trees and planting for extra privacy. They’re level-grounded too, so it shouldn’t be too tricky to set up your tent and you’ll have access to a composting toilet, a shower and a washing-up area.


You’ll be all set for a royally relaxing stay at Camping at the Manor in the New Forest National Park.

Camping at The Manor

Our aim is to provide a family friendly site, offering ‘real’ camping where we hope you can unwind and get away from the daily rush.

About our site:

Flat peaceful field with a wonderful view down the valley Pick your own spot (please keep 6 metres between tents) Campfires allowed (with a fire-pit) Warm showers Composting loos supplied by thunderboxand l'uritonnoir. Don’t worry, these are clean and efficient and we will have more available this year! 

Dogs allowed free of charge (but must be kept on a lead as we don’t want our sheep chased, and of course please tidy up after them) Free use of freezer for ice packs 10 minute walk from the farm entrance down a quiet country lane to the open forest 5 minute drive from the coastal town of Lymington Afraid we cannot accommodate caravans/motor homes and we do not provide electric hookups.

Loos:

Composting loos, these are eco-friendly and in line with our farms environmentally friendly ethos.  Hand made with cedar wood which gives a lovely natural wood aroma smelling much better than event chemical loos.  These are cleaned regularly.  Please let your party know we do not have flushing loos.

Showers:

Not far from your tent you have access to the main showers of Teddy’s farm campsite.  These are hot 24 hours a day.  They are rustic, adding to the charm of the campsite and we have had excellent feedback from our campers regarding the showers.

At the main campsite barn we have  a manned area selling:

   logs for your firepit

   our farm reared pasture-fed lamb

   New Forest ice creams

   local strawberries (in season)

   honesty shop for basic provisions

   Coffee van or stall selling freshly brewed coffee

Sammy Miller MBE is a motorcycling legend, 11 times British Champion, winner of over 1400 events and still parading and demonstrating at 87 years young!!  The Museum houses one of the finest collections of fully restored motorcycles in the world, there are over 450 bikes on display including factory racers and exotic prototypes, with the collection constantly evolving as new bikes are acquired. The Museum Shop has something for all the family.  For the younger child visiting the Motorcycle Museum there is the Teddy Bear Hunt and for the older child the Junior Bikers Trail. 
There are craft and gift shops in the Courtyard and Bashley Manor Tearooms serving delicious breakfasts, lunches, afternoon tea, home made cakes and much more..!  There are many animals to enjoy, such as alpacas, sheep, donkeys, goats, ducks, geese, two aviaries, and 2 turkeys called Salt and Pepper!

At ShoreSports Christchurch we operate in the shallow waters of Christchurch Harbour make an ideal location for beginners and advanced alike. 
We offer hire, lessons and tours for Stand Up Paddle Boarding,Kayaking, windsurfing and Sailing fro April to October.

Stand Up Paddleboarding is a natural blend of paddling and surfing, it has been revised and modernised into a whole new water sport. Its incredibly easy to learn, Its a great all-round workout, for the fit and less fit alike, Standing up gives you a very different prospect of everything around you, Basic techniques and strokes are easily achieved in a relatively short space of time, It can be Done anywhere, rivers, sea, harbour or lakes.
You can even windsurf on them!

Kayaking is well suited for absolutely anyone, no matter what your previous experience or age.  Kayaking is relaxing, fun and is a great way to get about the harbour and enjoy the local scenery. At ShoreSports Christchurch we mainly have easy to use sit-on top kayaks but also have a couple of enclosed cockpit boats. All tuition and kayak tours are lead by a BCU Level 3 Kayak Sea Coach.

ShoreSports now offers dinghy sailing courses from beginner level through improver to intermediate level at Mudeford Quay. All our sailing courses are run by RYA qualified instructors and follow the RYA syllabus. We make sailing as much fun as possible for sailors of every level of ability. Christchurch harbour is a prime location for sailing and is incredibly popular with different events and races taking place throughout the year.
