Rachel Byass Ceramics is a pottery studio with 36 years’ experience teaching all aspects of pottery.

We have 1000 sq. feet of tiled pottery to work in with 4 wheels and lots of other pottery equipment.

We offer bespoke sessions in the pottery where Rachel will teach you whatever you want.

What can you expect from your experience at the pottery? Rachel will teach up to 4 in a group or bigger groups can be planed just get in touch for that. 2 hours is £50 per person (you make 1 pot) 4 hours is £90 for one person then £75 a head there after (3 to 4 pots) Full day is £150 for one person then £75 a head there after (4 to 6 pots and learn how to turn a pot) Full weekends with accommodation for up to 2 to 6 can be done as we have a beautiful apartment next door to the pottery price will depend on what you want to do and how many it is.

On the day Rachel will demonstrate how to throw a pot. Rachel will then watch you and guide you through making your pot or pots. After you have made your lovely pot or pots you will then paint them, and they will be glazed and fired for you and ready to post (additional £12) or collect within 10 days
