Our luxury lodges and pods are set in the beautiful grounds of Darnells' Farm, which has been in the family for four generations. The farm is situated on the outskirts of the charming village of Linton.
Our glamping accommodation is in a very quiet rural setting on the Herefordshire/Gloucestershire border with easy access to the A40 and M50. The farm is in an ideal location to explore the Wye Valley, the Forest of Dean, the Cotswolds and the Malvern Hills. We're just a 15 minute drive from the picturesque market town of Ross-on-Wye.

Darnells' Farm Luxury Glamping

**Andrew's field is beautiful and idyllic but has limited facilities, it has a tap for drinking water, and waste water disposal point (ELSan). There is no electricity on site. **

The best things about the field:
Peaceful and unspoiled
Close to nature -wild deer often wander through the filed to drink from the river. The field is an excellent place for bird watching; Kingfishers, Cuckoos and Woodpeckers are regularly seen. We have a Little Owl in the area which is a little more elusive. 
If you camp you can fish for free on the River Avon.
You can launch Kayaks/ canoes directly from the field into the river Avon - a great place to start your adventure. 
Family run - the field is run by Andrew and his family who are thrilled that campers take joy in the beauty of their field, they can give you local hints and tips and are always happy to help. 
Camp fires are allowed - so it properly feels like camping. 
The field is still a hidden gem and therefore does not get overcrowded.
The field has beautiful vistas in all directions and is South facing so warms up nicely when the sun is out whilst benefiting from the cooling breeze from the river. 
You can walk to three pubs from the campsite.

The limited facilities means it is most suited to caravans and campervans however if you have a tent and a camping toilet you are welcome to come. 

Grass Pitch

- Please don't put wet wipes or dog poo bags down the elsan (CDP)
- Please take all your rubbish with you.
- Firepits are allowed but must be off the floor.


Andrew's Field

A 6 Metre 'Stargarzer' tent with an added 'Airbud' pup so depending on your family grouping, these each sleep anything from two to six people. Furnishings and decor throughout are stylishly top-notch so it's not just proper beds and rugs, but also soft robes, cut flowers, sofas, armchairs and coordinated colours. Outside, you get your own fully equipped cabana-style kitchen. You won't have to bring a thing and attached to this are pristine hot-water shower facilities, loo, and washing-up area. The knives are sharp, the pots and pans un-battered, while dining is at solid tables and chairs on matching crockery with proper glassware.

6M Stargazer + 3M Airbud

The 'Mahal' is the showstopper, a simply enormous specimen, the sort of thing a desert potentate might entertain in which sleeps at least eight in four separate rooms, with a whopping 65 square metres of floor space.

At this point, things start to get, well, even more boutique and luxury, for want of better words. Finnish wood-fired hot tub? That's a yes. Hammocks in wooded glades, comfy sun-loungers, and an impressive fire bowl that's almost three-foot across? Yes again. A communal, outdoor honesty bar with its own drink-stocked fridge, firepit, and free-to-use pizza oven is a place to chill, while a potter around the well-tended grounds turns up rose-scented grassy paths, vegetable and herb gardens, orchards, and scratching chickens. It's all extremely well thought out and playful, too, as the invitation to curl up for the night on an outdoor iron bed attests. Ask for a telescope and one will be provided. 

6M Lotus Belle Stargazer

The words 'boutique' and 'luxury' get bandied about a lot in glamping circles, but for the site at Stargazer Glamping in Herefordshire border country, they are probably understatements. Let's start with the location; a Georgian country pile in the outstandingly beautiful Wye Valley, which straddles the England-Wales border. It's a land of misty mornings, shaded forests, valley meadows, and mountain views, not to mention glorious sunsets and star-filled skies — if glamping magic is going to happen anywhere, it's here.

In adverse weather conditions where access to the paddocks is restricted, our new gravel pitches are available in the main front yard including electric hook-ups.

All guests must be self-sufficient, the site has no on-site toilet or shower facilities, however fresh water, a refuse recycling centre and emptying points are available. Only green organic toilet solutions can be used on-site and 'Leisure Depot Organic Green Toilet Chemical', is always available at the farm for guests. 

Late arrivals must notify the park as soon as possible. bookings will be held for 24 hours. After this period we reserve the right to relet the pitch.

2025 see’s the 7th season where guests are welcomed to enjoy the Great British Countryside in Herefordshire at Ayton Motorhome & Caravan Site at Yew Tree Farm. As a 'Certificated Location' with the Motor Caravanners Club, members and non-members are all welcome. The site can accept up to 5 Motor Caravans or Caravans at any one time with all pitches having electric hook-ups. As a small working farm, for safety, only adult guests are permitted. "Farmhouse Perry", (proper pear cider), made in limited supply from the Perry Pear trees on the farm is available which continues this centuries old tradition. A further 20 trees have recently been planted and grafted from the original ancient tree stock in and around the grass field site.
When access to the main site is restricted guests can utilise the stopover Aires all weather gravel facility located within the main yard at the farm, electric hook-ups, fresh water and an Elsan point are also available at this location but due to the vehicular access only Motorhomes & Camper Vans can be accepted.

Aylton Motorhome & Caravan Site

Norton Park is an exciting new development of Luxury Lodges; nestled at the foot of the Cotswold Hills.
The park is in a quiet and secluded location with stunning views of the Gloucestershire countryside without being too far from local attractions and amenities.
The M5 motorway provides a nearby connecting artery and local towns and cities such as Gloucester (5 minutes), Cheltenham (10 minutes), Tewkesbury (10 minutes), and Bristol (30 minutes) are all within a short drive.

Nature in Art is a museum, housed in a mansion that is georgian with a few really interesting displays of wildlife art, with work by over 600 artists from 60 different nations! You will find quite a wide range of styles, from abstract to realism that is hyper, all made with several different media such as for example ceramics, natural oils, materials, acrylics, wood and many more.  You get to check out art history, as a number of the ongoing work here was produced hundreds of years ago.
