Start year-round our comfortable, newly re-furbished, community-owned Hostel in South Lochs looks across the crystal clear waters of Loch Erisort to your North and stands against a backdrop associated with Harris hills towards the south. Initially the schoolmasters home, the Hostel types an element of the Ravenspoint Centre including a shop, fuel pump, museum and cafe. Southern Lochs is a traditional, gaelic community that is talking a 35 minute drive from the two ferry ports of Stornoway on Lewis and Tarbert on Harris and the Hostel has a bus-stop during the home. The Hostel has 3 bedrooms and will house as much as 9guests in a choice of shared or personal accommodation. It has a sitting that is comfortable, a well-equipped kitchen area and will be offering washing and drying facilities. Secure lockers can be found in the available rooms and bicycle storage space normally offered by the Centre. The Hostel offers an base that is ideal walkers and cyclists from where to explore the organic, rugged beauty for the area.
