About This Activity

AtPlym Valley Railway, we've rebuilt a 1.5 mile area of the ex Great Western branch line from Marsh Mills to Plym Bridge. The line utilized to perform from Tavistock Junction, just outside of Plymouth, to Launceston. It's a history railway centre where we are preserving steam and diesel locomotives, carriages, wagons, as well as other railway that is historic to replicate the environment of a bygone age.As well as train trips, we now have a lot of machines, carriages and wagons to see. We've viewing areas you are not in it to help you view the trains operating when! It is possible to explore Plym connection woods, which is a national trust home when you get off the train at Plym connection. The Railway is close to a cycle track, so you can bring your bikes, have a train ride, explore the cycle then monitor through Plym connection woods. We run passenger trains on selected times over a section for the line from our section at Marsh Mills to Plym Bridge Platform. We have special Running days, including Easter Sunday Specials, Spooky Sunday for Halloween, and Santa specials regarding the Sundays leading up to Christmas.
