An ancient broad-leaved woodland visited by buzzards, woodpeckers and a myriad of colourful butterflies for further immersion in nature, it’s just under five minutes’ drive to Grafton Wood Nature Reserve. If you're more content when contemplating the waters and waiting for a bite, there are well-stocked fishing pools, 20 minutes’ and half an hour’s drive away.
