We have spaces ideal for anything from small campervans to large tourers, choose from either gravel/tarmac pitches or grass pitches.

There is an outdoor shower available for your use.

Please use your own loo as the communal loo is not ready yet.  

As of yet, we don’t have a facility to empty chemical waste, sorry about  that! It will happen though so please don’t let that put you off any future stays!

Our Bell tent is situated in a private peaceful field away from the road. It is very simple inside, but air mattresses to sleep two are provided. Please bring your own bedding if you wish to be extra cosy as only basic sleeping bags are provided. If there are more than two of you wishing to camp we can provide for up to two more guests, providing two extra air mattresses at £5 per person per night. 

With the local village only one mile away providing a pub that serves excellent food, and community shop that sells all necessities, you should find everything you need right on your doorstep.

As with our Yurt, the Bell Tent is located in our peaceful and pretty field, with an eco loo and the lovely gas fired outdoor shower room which is shared with the Yurt guests. The fire pit is also available for both your pleasure and cooking.

Other things to note; we recommend you bring midge repellent, and perhaps hay  fever remedies in summer months. Luckily midges won’t be around if  there is a breeze!

Tent Pitch

 The  Yurt is situated in an 'oh-so-peaceful spot' with a lovely rural vibe among fields where cows and sheep wander. If you're up for that kind' of  experience then you'll love our wee glampsite! The Yurt can sleep up to four comfortably with the addition of an extra air mattress (Please bring your own bedding). It’s both child and (well behaved) dog friendly.

If  you’re looking for a getaway where you can truly 'switch-off' from the hustle and bustle of the world and reconnect with the earth around you, then you’ve come to the right place. On arrival, in true farm style, we will provide a wheelbarrow for ferrying everything to and from the Yurt!  Yes, you really are secluded and completely private; tucked away in rural bliss. The farm is a working farm, so please drive slowly and take your time navigating the driveway. A little stream runs between the  parking area and yurt field, so take care when crossing the bridge. 

The Yurt itself sits a short walk from the parking area. The interior is stylishly decorated with warm colours, textures and great comfort. The wood-burning stove means the Yurt is always cosy and warm so we can accept guests all year-round. There's a classic French bed, small sofa and beautiful furniture to make you feel right at home.

The  "cookhouse" provides a small gas stove where you can cook or make hot  refreshments. The shop in Kirkmichael has all basic provisions and a nice cafe which is currently only open from 9am - 3pm. Also in the village, the Kirkmichael Arms is open every day for drinks, lunch and delicious dinner. The South Ayrshire coast with its scenic coastal towns of Ayr, Prestwick and Troon are also close by.

No matter your intentions for your trip, our Yurt will offer you a truly secret escape where you can rest and recharge.

Other things to note; with the sun rising early in the summer, you may wish to bring an eye mask - if you're easily disturbed by the lighter mornings. The birds are also quite happy at the break of dawn here, so you may also wish to bring earplugs, but that's only if birdsong is a bother!

McDowall Cottage

McDowall Cottage was converted from a Garden that is previous Bothy. built about 1800. It really is romantically situated on the yard wall surface of Blairquhan Gardens.  Downstairs McDowall Cottage has a room/living that is dining with comfortable soft seating, a digital TV, a totally equipped kitchen area with an electric cooker, microwave oven, fridge/freezer and washer/dryer. A bedroom and restroom with dual sleep. Upstairs there is a bedroom with two beds being single.

Doonbank Bothy

A few nights to wait a marriage at the Brig O'Doon resort, or a single or two week self catering getaway break, Doonbank offers a special, versatile and private accommodation base so that you can flake out and relax whether you're looking for a single night business stopover. Doonbank Bothy is a beautifully presented two storey, one bedroomed house that is detached. It is extremely spacious, quiet and calm and set within four and a half acres of Doonbank Cottage's secluded woodland garden that is personal. The bothy sleeps two grownups. We have a cot that is free under 2s and (on demand) a different solitary fold-a-way bed for an under 10 yr old. As well as accessing the woodland garden and river,  it has it's very own back that is private to relax in. South Segganwell - Culzean Castle

Our holiday accommodation is found in and around intimate Culzean Castle, created by Robert Adam within the 1770s on a single of Scotland's many clifftop that is spectacular.
