There are shower facilities on site as well as composting toilets and washing up stations. We have limited shelter for those rainy summer days so please check the weather forecast and pack appropriately. Due to the nature of this campsite we are not permitted to have campervans, caravans or motorhomes stay with us - it’s tents only I’m afraid, but you can park your car right next to your camp. 

Small fires are allowed at your camp but only if you are using a fire pit or similar (has to be off the ground) and are being sensible with it. We will try to keep a supply of fire wood on site for sale.

Our POD's have a super king size bed,  wooden floors, central heating, en-suite shower room with drench head shower and full length mirror. Included is Tea and coffee making facilities, with a table and chairs for 2, which will be moved outside to make room for children's beds. Children need to bring their own beds and bedding.
On your private balcony, views look over the beautiful Mendip hills, with wildlife to spot all around you.

Your private garden is a sun trap, with a firepit, barrel BBQ, table and chairs and a luxury hot tub

The site is in the Mendip Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Set in your own private  meadow surrounded on three sides by woodland, the yurt is an oasis for wild life. You may be lucky enough to get a visit from our local deer who often amble into your own meadow, normally in the morning. You will certainly be serenaded by the wild birds.

**Facilities:** The yurt has a king sized brass bed and the bedding is Egyptian cotton. The skylight lets you stargaze all night. As well as a wood burning stove there is an electric blanket,hot water bottles, woollen blankets and an electric heater for extra comfort on chilly nights. The veranda is great for watching the sun sink at the end of the day. Hammocks, a picnic table and barbecue area with seating, swings and badminton are available outside. We have some impressive sunsets over the Severn Estuary from May through to August.

You have your own private hot shower and wash house next to the yurt, along with wash basin and eco toilet. Inside the yurt is a fridge, kettle, toaster and single hot plate, along with all the kitchenware you'll need, so you don’t have to brave the elements for a cuppa on chilly mornings.
Outside is a double sink with drinking water running hot and cold with sprays and soaps supplied.
 Down on the ground sheltered beside the verandah is the barbecue area with an unlimited supply of wood and a big steel firepit to cook up a storm or just slowly warm up a few of our marshmallows on our special forks.

**Local Area:** There are many well-regarded pubs within walking distance at either end of the Batch. The Crown and the Nelson at the bottom of the hill(10-15 mins walk), the Star and the Swan(15-20mins walk - you may want to book beforehand) in the opposite direction and Thatcher’s Railway Inn over in Sandford. Churchill village is 15minutes walk away on the western edge of the Mendip Hills, an area of outstanding natural beauty, about 8 miles east of Weston-super-Mare, and about 15 miles south-west of Bristol.The village has a busy post office selling food and drink and dispensing cash as well as having a small cafe. There are many walks, cycle paths including the famous Strawberry line, and other outdoor activities nearby. Cheddar offers many beautiful walks, trails, cycle paths and lovely tea shops, and is also walkable from the yurt (about three hours!).

**Your neighbours:** You may find deer, foxes, squirrels, owls and the unseen badgers hanging out already. The rescue chickens will almost be certainly be round to check you out. The meadow has a variety of wild flowers including wild orchids. The wood behind the yurt is a mix of ash, oak, hazel and hawthorn hiding you from view for most of the year.

This is simple camping! Every pitch has a firepit. You can bring your own wood or buy a bag or two from the onsite owner or forage in the nearby woods. Basic toilet facilities with soaps and gels and a library. Solar showers available.  Tap with drinking water, washing up bowls and a large sink. 

Shared fridge and freezer. We will recycle or dispose of all your waste. Parking is 50m from the campfield. You can use our wheelbarrows to transport your equipment to your pitch. Beautiful views and dark skies. Maps and walking guides available.

 Wossnem’s location means you can also spot the race horses being trained over the wall in the mornings. Close to the car park and around 2 minutes walk to the main facilities.

Fry’s wood can be divided up into individual tents for families or smaller groups at certain times of the year, and children and babies are of course welcome. We make sure that families never share their camp space with large groups. The Farm Camp is on a working sheep farm, so regretfully pets must stay at home.

Gathering friends and feasting in the great outdoors is a huge part of the experience. There are BBQs, gas hobs and fire bowls and a well-equipped camp kitchen, plus the Flock & Feed dining shelter with seating for all. The Gather Round is a sheltered area where you can meet other guests for campfire conversations, while your wooded corner is completely private if you want some time to yourself.

Half a mile down the lane are the main farm buildings, where you’ll find not only power but also an indoor heated swimming pool and a games room. While there are no rules, we encourage our guests to make the most of their time off-grid at The Farm Camp, and those who want to really switch off can use our tech lockers to prevent the outside world from creeping in.

With our superb location just outside Bath, and endless things to do in the area, a stay at The Farm Camp is something to remember. From bike rides to yoga sessions, fitness sessions, or exploring the pretty town of Bradford on Avon or Bath just a short drive away. 

The local area also boasts some of the UK’s top wild swimming spots, all within 30 minutes walk. We also offer Farm/ Woodland activities including the very popular sheep herding, farm tours, fire lighting, den building and more depending on the season. These activities need to be booked in advance.

Sitting in the most covenient location, Eesorite has easy access to the camp showers and loos. Nestled into the edge of the mature woodland you have lovely views surrounding you.

Dry off and explore the large sports hall, perfect for your children to practice striking those big shots in badminton, football and baseball, may be down towards the Olympics right away!If you fancy something a bit more intense work that is go a sweat within the health and fitness suite, do not worry though it's fully air conditioned! With a little something for all, train difficult in the cardio theater, resistance and dumbells section and roomy stretch and area that is stomach. The creche provides somewhere for young ones to try out whilst the remaining portion of the family members makes the most of those facilities which are exceptional. Each and every day that is super for sporty young ones!
