Beginner Surf Lesson

£35 1.5 Hour group session including all the kit! First time surfer? Let our experienced and highly qualified instructors get to work and introduce you to the world of wave riding. Theyll be right there by your side in the surf giving you loads of help and encouragement. Youll be stoked at what you can achieve in two hours& most of our students stand in the first lesson!!

Sessions are 1.5 hours at the waters edge with one of our awesome instructors, but allow 2 hours of you time for changing and walking to/from the water. Although these are group lessons, instruction is very individual and suited to your needs. Go at your own pace. Lessons are challenging but always great fun.

We supply all the equipment you need with the best quality wetsuits to keep you toastie and the most appropriate boards for your size and ability.

All you need to bring is a towel, some waterproof sunscreen, endless enthusiasm and a good sense of humour. Well do the rest!

£25 1 hour group lesson (* ages 5-7) Splash and dash for the groms! A fun and gentle introduction to riding small broken waves. An hour in the water, just enough time to get the young guns used to handling the bigger boards, catching the waves lying down and even standing up on a few by the end. The instructors will be right by their side at all times, but parents are encouraged to jump in and help in the shallows.

If you feel ready to go straight into the beginner lesson, this gives 1.5 hours instruction time with our experienced and highly qualified instructors (Surfing GB). Although these are group lessons, instruction is very individual and suited to your needs. Go at your own pace. Lessons are challenging but always great fun!

Novice/Improvers £35 1.5 Hour group session- including all the kit! The Novice/Improver category covers a wide spectrum of ability so there are a lot of sub categories!! Basically if your surfing ability lies anywhere between fall off quite a lot to stand up quite a lot then this is for you. The Surfs Up! instructors will use their trusty eye to choose the specific skill drills to match your ability and your aspirations. Focus on technique at this stage and you really will see the benefits when the time comes to embark on the Intermediate Course and the quest for the holy grail.
